If the makers of The Batman created a new animated Superman series years from now, would anybody watch it. I probably would.

Ummm... They are making a series. It's called 'Man of Steel', I believe, and no, I wouldn't watch it.

I'd buy the DVD and chuck it in the fire, watching it slowly melt. What's next? The Wonderwoman?

Actual, now that you mention it I do remember hearing rumors about a "Flash show" designed like The Batman. I think the tentetive title was called "Fastest man alive."
If you burn it do it in a better way, On your computer. Sell the copies so the big corperation thats are producing it won't make as much money from DVD sales. And yo can justify having purchased it. Not that I would ever advocated the massive distrobution of any copy writed matterial.

on another note nintendo really has to check on there lisences cause some of there games are public domain now.

Yeah, What If the creators of The Batman made a new animated Superman series? You know what i think, i think that it should have a twist. And the twist is that the new Superman show would be all anime.

Uh... the old Superman show was anime too. o.0

All Anime is, is the Japanese word for Animated.

10 years isn't long enough >__>;. Unless the new show is SO original and SO great that it's justified.

Alot of Superman and very few of Batman was done in China. just throwing that out there. I think what he meant was that it should have a more asian feel interms of animation like Akira's Toriyama's Dragon Ball, Tosihiro Kawatmata's Cowboy bebop design or even Hayao Miyazaki.

Severaly shows don't even wait 10 years before rebooting there character base, Just look at Spawn and his new series Spawn the animation. Spider-man (1995) and the cartoon which appeared on MTV.

The animation for Superman:TAS, was heavily influenced by the Superman Fleischer short films of the early 1940's. I myself have purchased two dvds of these short films, I recommend that any fan of animation purchase them, they are beautiful and have withstood the test of time.

As for whether I'd like to see Superman done like the Batman ?

No way, the character designs would look horrible, I would want to see something like that. Sadly though the creators of The Batman will be the ones to create the new animated Superman series.

Yeah, I would probably watch it, and see if I liked it or not. I just hope they don't go into the other superheroes like The Batman did in the last season of that show.
