For some reason, Metallo is shown with his "torn skin" look, while he was previously shown in the episode "Action Figures" to have lost all his skin. Even if Intergang has fixed him up, you think they'd give him a whole skin-suit.
Could John Henry Irons really carry Superman? If he's super-dense, that also makes him super-heavy.
Isn't Superman being very indiscreet calling John Henry Irons by name and talking to him about the prototype suit within earshot of two known felons?
Would John Henry Irons really stand unexposed muttering to himself while being shot at by two gunmen?
Metallo: (To Superman after knocking him down)Do you remember how you left me, Superman? Buried under all that rock; I couldn't move, couldn't see, couldn't hear but I could think. And all I could think about was how I was going to make you pay! So long, hero!
Metallo: Well, what have we here?
Steel: Call me... Steel.
Metallo: Steel, Metallo. The meeting of the metals. Well then, Mr. Steel, may the best alloy win!
Intergang crook #1: (about Irons) Well, well, if it ain't one of them dead Samaritans.
Intergang crook #2: (readying weapon) Say 'good night', chump!
Superman: (from above) Good night, chump.
Metallo: Now where's Superman!?!
Teen: Try the planet Krypton.
Metallo: (while fighting Superman) You can drown me, you can bury me, you can send your little foot-soldiers to do your dirty work. I can take anything you can throw at me... anything.
Steel: Yo! Metallo! Take this! (throws hammer at his kryptonite heart)
Natasha: Come on, Superman! This ain't no tannin' salon!
Natasha: He's got Superman. He's gonna kill 'em!
Steel: Not on my watch he's not!
Metallo: In the flesh!
Metallo: Somebody speak up! Or I'll tear this neighborhood apart! Brick by brick.
Teen: We got nothing to say to you, Robo-butt.
Superman: Well, Steel, you're gonna be getting this a lot, so you might as well hear it from me first.
Natasha is also known, in the comics, as Steel IV, having taken over the mantle of hero after her uncle, Steel III was injured for a time.
Metallo now has Kryptonite eye blasts.
This is Steel's first and final appearance in the series. He would later show up in the Justice League episode "The Return" voiced by a presumably uncredited Phil LaMarr.
When one of the Intergang thugs referred to John as "one of them there Dead Samaritans", he was alluding to the term "Good Samaritan", which references a Biblical parable about a stranger who helps someone in trouble without expecting a reward for his efforts.
