When the Joker's acid burns part of Superman's lead suit away, why can't he just pick up the kryptonite and throw it away as he did against Metallo in "Action Figures"? Both times the gloves of the suit were still intact.
Superman: (after Joker throws marbles on the floor to slow him down) He has got to be kidding.
(Batman drops in flying with a rocket)
The Joker: Copybat, copybat. Suffering from propulsion envy, Batboy?
The Joker (to Superman): More powerful than a locomotive!... And just about as subtle.
Dan Turpin: Swell, now Gotham is sending us their wackos.
This three parter was later released on DVD as The Batman/Superman Movie.
The Joker: (about Superman) More powerful than a locomotive!... And just about as subtle.
This is an in-joke reference to the The Adventures of Superman's opening narration.
