Supernatural stars Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki as Dean and Sam Winchester, two brothers who travel the country looking for their missing father and battling evil spirits along the way.''''Sam Winchester is a college student bound for law school, determined to escape his family's past - unlike his older brother, Dean. Ever since they were little their father has been consumed with an obsession to find the evil forces that murdered his beloved wife, in result recruiting and training his two young sons to help him in revenge. They have grown up as hunters of the supernatural. Sam escaped under the premise of going to college, and now has a happy life with his girlfriend, Jessica, and a promising future career. Dean, however, stayed behind with his father to join him in his "hunting".''''Dean goes to Sam for help when their father goes missing. Now Sam must join his brother to find him.     I watched the show from the very beginning and I totally loved it. In my humble opinion, the show started going down when the writers came up with this angelic brother thingy. As in heaven, so on Earth. Yeah, that about killed quite a lot of the atmosphere.

    Didn't care too much about season six, still wondering if I'm ever going to watch season seven.

  • A superb show still going strong in its 7th season

    Few shows make it this far and for good reason; because it is very difficult to write characters and stories that can continue to be engaging for that long. Yet SPN has managed it. Now in its 7th season it is still delivering witty, emotionally gripping, exciting stories. And I am still totally wrapped up in the story of Sam and Dean. Rarely has a show created two such great characters. Even more rare is the fantastic depiction of such a believable relationship between 2 characters.

    Everything about this show; writing, acting, direction, photography etc are top quality. It is an undiscovered gem, but its niche status is part of its charm. It may be on a small network, and only gets a 1/10th of the ratings of 2.5 Men, but boy do those fans who do watch it love it. It inspires a devotion and commitment from its fanbase that bigger shows can only dream of.

    Its creative well has nowhere near run dry. I hope it carries on for 2 or 3 more years.moreless

    Castiel, joins the cast and becomes one of the coolest characters I've ever seen on TV.

    Adding Misha Collins to the cast was one of the most ingenious moves they have made to keep the show fresh and now they kill him noooooooooo !!! Oh god, please! I want Cas so bad back in the show :(

    I used to be an avid fan. I loved the brotherly love thing. But since Sam went BAD its Dean, Dean, Dean in all the photos, screen shots and so on - even on this site. I get the feeling the show would improve immensely if Sam got a boost on the good/bad scale - and it would have to be a pretty damn big boost too to bring Sam's character back onto an equal footing with Dean. Otherwise i think the show is seeing its last season.moreless
