I hope the writers redeem themselves and treat Castiel in a respectful manner.

I'm still spitting nails over the way they dumped his character. Sealed

Not really. I don't see any nail spitting in my posts of the last two eppys.

I suppose spitting nails is a subjective term.

    Enjoy the show tonight. Smile

About the only thing they could tonight that would ruin it for me would be if they brought him back just to do something (like say fix Sam) then make him die again or something.

I would be most happy if they kept him around maybe like he was near the end of season five and have him show up once in awhile. Even better if they kept him around then when the series ends give him his own spin off show.

I was so happy that Cas is back and then he leaves (in a way) again! I hope they find a way to help him! I was so excited with everything that was happening and then the last 5 minutes made me sad and feel like we have lost Cas all over again. Though at least they made him go out in a much better way (saving Sam), and it seems like Dean has gotten over some of his anger towards Cas. That scene with the coat made this episode! Dean has kept it all this time and Cas took it back. Also the impala (I think) makes a return which makes me so happy. I have missed that car so much almost as much as I missed Cas. I hope they at least keep driving the car again. It's been too long!

Next episode looks like a silly filler (probably for april first or something) I hope they do something else with Cas and don't just leave him in that mental hospital with Meg and never talk about him again (which has happened with other situtations/characters in this show in the past). He needs to come back to himself somehow and help out with whatever goes down in the season finale. I need more Cas!!

I was about to post the same thing. The episode was great right up until Cas shifted Sam's issues and he became a drooling mental patient.

I gotta thing Meg will abduct him to try and use him against Crowley and, hopefully, the storyline will unfold so that Cas is back to his old self.

I actually thought of an idea for a Cas spin off. Call it "Lost Souls" and have it be an group show populated with characters who died off the show who are brought back to earn a second chance.

Then people would think it was connected to that awful reality show and they would probably sue or something.

Since the shows rating, though not great, are higher than most of the other shows on the CW, it looks like we will get one more season. Hopefully Cas will stick around, it hasn't been the same without him.

Loved this episode mainly because Cas returned but it was a great episode altogether. Nice seeing Sam solve a case even when he's out of it. Hopefully Cas is back to stay. And wow demons were in this episode, nice to have a break from the Leviathans.

either dick or crowley will get a head full of lucifer by the seasons end, seeing as though the leviathans don't have a 100% way of dying yet that would be a way to sort of kill him off.

It was amazing episode!!! I totally love Lucifer and when hi sang to Sam or when he was looking for psychical disorders at himself it was hillarious!! Great that Cas is back. I hope they'll do something about him!

And anyone noticed that Meg gained some weight? I mean is Rachel pregnant? She looked a little bit weird, but still I adore her!

I really can't make up my mind about this episode. The cynic in me says the writers just tried to get this train-wreck of a season back on rails with a deus ex machina, while the fan in me says CAS IS BACK! (or was, for this episode). And really, in the end the whole plotline with Sam and his wall came down to this? Meh.

I didn't quite like this episode, but for starters, the things I did like were:

    - Lucifer, who was hilarious, a very inspired performance

    - Meg is back, but on the other hand, the actress didn't seem very inspired at all..

    - Bobby most probably helping as a ghost presence.

Now the things I didn't like:

    - Castiel as Deus ex Machina once again. Then the illogical part. First he says there's nothing to cure in Sam, since nothing is left, his mind is in shambles - then he magically transfers the state of disorder to his own mind, which kinda negates the previous thing, as it seems that Lucifer is some sort of virus causing the disorder and not the disorder itself. Plus it was executed so fast as if they were trying to get it done without inciting unpleasant questions. Lame.

    - Castiel as being oblivious to his previous self, than realizing about it and being persuaded by Dean to come and help, blah blah, like some Hollywood save the world kinda film...

    ---

What I'm curious to find out is how these arcs join in the end of the season, i.e. Meg + Castiel + Crowley + the Leviathan + Bobby.

I can see the line up now: Cas (of course), Bobby, Rufus, Bella (if the actress who plays her is done with "Walking Dead" by then), maybe Adam maybe even though in a twist like maybe Jessica (why not she died by the hand of a demon so yeah and she did get cheated out of playing Wonder Woman on NBC). I'm sure there are others and maybe they could appear for a bit then make their way into the afterlife again or whatnot.

I thought there was somethingdifferentbut I wasn't sure what it was exactly. Still given that most actresses are like walking candy apples it probably couldn't hurt. Unless Cas was trying more porn stuff on her off camera and its some sort of demon/angel hybrid she's got in her oven then we're in trouble.

My understanding is Cas was saying he couldn't rebuild the wallbecausethere where wasn't any of the wall left to rebuild so he took the whole hell memories and all that into himself. Kind of like you can't rebuild the damn holding back the flood water so you make a trench and divert the floodwater elsewhere. BestanalogyI can come up with right now.

As for Cas no remembering then remembering and wanting to help so bad. He clearly feels guilty so he wants to fix what he broke. It's admrable and it starts to redeem Dean that he kept Cas' coat and he so wanted to get through this without Cas remembering so maybe HE could have a life of his own for a change. Sam tried it and failed, Dean tried it and failed and Dean wanted Cas to have a chance.

It doesn't totally make up for Dean's d'bagbehaviortoward Cas all those times but it's a start and shows how he really feels deep down inside.
