I'd like to see a guy stitching together zombies and calling it the Splice Girls, myself.
It's been a long wait for a new eppy.
Hope this will be a good one.
Place your bets. Is the invisible helpful entity Bobby's ghost or Castiel. EMF reading was compromised. Bobby was cremated but rules got changed for monsters - why not spirits too?
Loved the episode...
Too bad the girl died! or maybe she didn't, i mean they are powerful, maybe they think she is dead but she is just wounded! I'd like too see some new blood 2 the family, Emma with her father training her... why not? would be great! giving Dean a purpose to live life again
Regarding the paper moved! do u all remember when his whisky disappeared! maybe he is still here because of a hair or something on his books or i donno
But why not gettin him back in flesh.. an angel work ![]()
Great episode

I must be honest and say i was a little angry with Sam. I cant beleive he thinks it will have been easy for Dean to kill his own daughter and to try and compare to how Dean killed his old crush is ridiculous. Its not the same this was Deans daughter no matter the circumstances it came about. Dean who just wants his family around him. I was just sad for Dean.

But at the end of the day, Sam called it. a monster is a monster and has to be killed.she said flat out she was there to kill Dean, kind of a far stretch from Sam's old crush who stopped killing and was just caring for her child. if Dean had any objections they would have been 100% hypocritical considering he blew Sams opinion on it out of the water. I just found it odd after Dean allowed Lenore the Vampire to go originally now all of a sudden he's switched to "if it has fangs or fur it needs to die" approach.

I wonder if it's some DNA on that flask keeping him around. (if they go that route, kind of hoping they don't)
All in all a good eppy.
I liked the last scene in the car where they are bickering.
Dean to Sam: "You're just as screwed up. You're just bigger."

I was skeptial at first but it could be something that ties into both Bobby and Cas and their joint return. Of course the way Dean is being all emotional and hopeful and Sam is being all level headed and logical it could go either way. It could also be someone else totally. Loved the Wonder Woman refrence and the appearance The Mayor from "Buffy".
I thought that was the ol' Mayor! But I wasn't too sure. He's definitely aged a bit.

And here's why I think so. First of all, they were very careful to note in the episode that Dean and Sam didn't know whether you could kill the Amazons like you would any human, or whether you had to do something special. Nor did the brotherslearn the answer to that question before the end of the episode.
Now why on Earth would they put that doubt in there and not resolve it? Maybe to raise a little suspense before the confrontation with the Amazons, but I'm pretty skeptical of that. I think it's much more likely thatthis was put in the scriptto give them an "out" to bring Emma back, especiallly since they were careful to remove all the Amazons at the end rather than let Sam and Dean fight them and realize their error.
Emma wasvery wary of the gun, so my guess is that you have to pierce an Amazon's heart to kill her. You'll notice that Sam shot Emma in the stomach. And when she was down, with both of her enemies armed, it was a lot smarter for her to play dead rather than rear up and probably get shot multiple more times, quite possibly in the heart.
Then, too, Emma is Dean's DAUGHTER! This is much too big a thing, with too much story and tragedy potential, for the writers to resolve it and kill her off in a single episode. No, they're going to milk this for all it's worth.
Finally, remember Adam Millligan! That was an extremely similar situation, with anothernewfound family member. There, too, it looked like Adam had been introduced and killed in a single episode, and of course they brought him back anyway, because ofthe story potential of another Winchester.I'm pretty sure they're doing the same thing here.
In fact, if I had to guess wildly, I'd say that both Emma and Rory Pond (Amy Pond's son) will be coming back before the end of the season as a team. The Leviathans are supposed to be uber-smart and informed, right? And they've been having great difficulties dealing with the Winchester brothers. So why not bring togetherand use twomonsters in particular who have reason to hate the Winchesters and whom one each of the brothers will be pyschologically reluctant to harm?
And ifthey don't use that on the show, the ideawould make a good fanfic, anyway
and a seasoned hunter like Sam who was bound and deturmaned to kill her wouldn't take a moment to check for a pulse or a heartbeat? Dean who was reluctant to have her dead wouldn't check for a heartbeat or a pulse either? Sam wouldn't have checked for a pluse or a heartbeat for that other chick he shot? No one bothered to check and make sure before blowing town?
Also, the only reason they revisited Adam (who in his first episode was dead before they even knew he exisited and was being impersonated by a ghoul) was because of a sudden script change to keep series going for beyond that season. Otherwise they're were not likely to revisit him again.
Sure they COULD bring her back. They COULD bring back anybody on this show (truely dead, alive or whatever), but that doesn't mean they will or should. ![]()
Surely the boys wouldn't make such a rookie mistake in not making sure Emma was genuinely dead. Besides, wouldn't they have to dispose of the body in order not to leave additional loose ends?
The Amazons may return but I don't think Emma will be among them.
