Well yeah I don't think anyone is saying he's evil per se but even the best of us can do the worst with the best of intentions and while he's not evil exactly clearly whatever the full extent of his actions are they're pretty dark and they're going to be main focus of concern from here on out.

At the very least he's doing something shady with souls (probably eating them like lays potato chips) and he's making deals with the other side and that's just the stuff we know, no letting what he's doing that we don't know about yet.

We should get a better idea what Cas has been up to in this week's ep. Whatever he's up too it's pretty shady and it's clear that he know's what he's doing is wrong.

Yes, and at the same time he feels he has no choice and is begging to be stopped (probably by God).

Ya it looks like Cas is begging to be stopped or he's asking for help from God. I'm sure we find out what other stuff Cas has been up to.

I kinda want to know if Cas and Crowley are working together as a team or if Crowley is working for Cas. And I want to know if Cas had something to do with Sam getting out of the Cage.

Of course it occurs to me that the scene were Cas is begging to be stopped COULD be a flashback and he could be in deeper and be more determined to carry out his plan now. I suspect it's probably a partnership where they're both getting something they want out of the deal and they're both playing their own roles.

    Season 4 episode 1. o_o

I really hope it isn't a flashback and Castiel really does want to be stopped... Hopefully that doesn't lead to his death... But if Castiel does die again... and I really hope he doesn't... maybe God will revive him again. He's revived him twice already. Why would God even bother doing that if he doesn't care? He certainly didn't revive any of the other angels.

Yeah, but to be fair, you and I are both used to angels as the bad guys; hell, it's used in both Final Fantasy VI and VII.

Yeah, I hope it's not a flashback but that is a possiblity.

As for him dying I say no, that's too easy, let him work to gain redemption and regain the trust of thoes around him.

I thought he was pretty cool when they introduced him.

But I found myself liking him more when they had him depict how innocent or how he lacked street smarts / pop culture.

One scene he'll be an intense guy you do NOT want to mess with, and will demonstrate his vast knowledge in some judeo-christian lore.

The next he'll ask something silly or react strangely; like his reaction to watching porn.

I also loved it when they took him to the whore house and he acted almost scared; this is the guy that fought against Lucifer's forces in "the fall" b

I also liked it when he was starting to act human: like his comment how he found a liquor store... and drank it. Or when we see a future version of him stripped of his powers and he's a high hippie. It just contrasts with his normal persona and makes for good comedy.

So he gets great action and drama scenes because he plays a real bad-a$$, and yet acts as the comic relief when dealing with the human world.

I think it's probly a flashback scene maybe at some point early on this year. Ya Cas is probly in pretty deep I get a sense that Cas would do just about anything to defeat Raphael. Which you really can't blame him.

That's the saddest part, it's hard to imagine what else Cas could have done, his back was against the wall and he was trying to protect Dean and the others and the whole world.

Yeah, I mean, if the new God and the new Lucifer are all buddy-buddy, it would've saved the world a lot of pain, but (of course) it didn't work out.

Cas is such a great character. He has heart, drama and of course great humor.

    I just love some of his lines over the years. Like the two I can think of off the top of my head;

"God is not on a flatbread."

"Why do you want me to say my name?"

I didn't really pay much attention to him but the moment I started to LOVE Cass character was in the final moments of season 6. The way he talked and acted with so much power and how he let the boys know he's the new God? Amazing, I love him now and really wish he don't loses. He is a bad character in the eyes of Dean, but when you look closely, he's a good leader, a great personality.

I see a couple of way's this show can deal with Cas now.

    1. Dean talk's Cas into giving up his new found power's some how.

    2. God return's to Heaven and kick's Cas out. Making him a fallen angel with no power's again. Making him earn his way back to become a angel again.

    3. God return's to Heaven and Cas and found's out about God's famous wrath. God throw's Cas into the Cage with Michael and Lucifer.

    4. Maybe after Cas cool's down after thinking everyone was against him he really does become a better God like he said he was going to be. You can have the old God show up maybe pass the torch to Cas really making him the new God. Then Death can show up and reap the old God. Death did say he was going to reap God one day.

One note: Did Cas' speach at the end about bowing down and all that remind anyone of when Galadrial (I THINK that was her name) touches the Ring near the end of "Lord of the Rings"?

The speech had that same feel too it like love me and fear me at the same time.

Not very surprising (nothing to do with you, though), and you'll have to get used to it, I'm afraid. A few months ago my thread was deleted right away, because the moderator thought it had spoilers. When I proved to him there were no spoilers, he said it was because it had speculations. When I told him there are at least 7 other speculation threads, he said it was because I was reported. When I said I doubted it, he stopped responding because I lied to him. Haha.

Fear not, there was a time when everytime I started a topic it got erased. I got moded for a bunch of posts for little or no reason and my sig kept getting moded for being too big when a LOT of people had bigger ones (which is why I don't have one anymore). I'm sure the guy running this board hates me.

I seem to recall the "Lord of the Rings" speech having the phrase 'all will love me and despair'. I would love to see a trascript of both speeches at once because I'm sure they compair nicely.
