Ya it looks like Cas is begging to be stopped or he's asking for help from God. I'm sure we find out what other stuff Cas has been up to.
I kinda want to know if Cas and Crowley are working together as a team or if Crowley is working for Cas. And I want to know if Cas had something to do with Sam getting out of the Cage.
Season 4 episode 1. o_o
I really hope it isn't a flashback and Castiel really does want to be stopped... Hopefully that doesn't lead to his death... But if Castiel does die again... and I really hope he doesn't... maybe God will revive him again. He's revived him twice already. Why would God even bother doing that if he doesn't care? He certainly didn't revive any of the other angels.
I thought he was pretty cool when they introduced him.
But I found myself liking him more when they had him depict how innocent or how he lacked street smarts / pop culture.
One scene he'll be an intense guy you do NOT want to mess with, and will demonstrate his vast knowledge in some judeo-christian lore.
The next he'll ask something silly or react strangely; like his reaction to watching porn.
I also loved it when they took him to the whore house and he acted almost scared; this is the guy that fought against Lucifer's forces in "the fall" b
I also liked it when he was starting to act human: like his comment how he found a liquor store... and drank it. Or when we see a future version of him stripped of his powers and he's a high hippie. It just contrasts with his normal persona and makes for good comedy.
So he gets great action and drama scenes because he plays a real bad-a$$, and yet acts as the comic relief when dealing with the human world.
Cas is such a great character. He has heart, drama and of course great humor.
I just love some of his lines over the years. Like the two I can think of off the top of my head;
"God is not on a flatbread."
"Why do you want me to say my name?"
I see a couple of way's this show can deal with Cas now.
1. Dean talk's Cas into giving up his new found power's some how.
2. God return's to Heaven and kick's Cas out. Making him a fallen angel with no power's again. Making him earn his way back to become a angel again.
3. God return's to Heaven and Cas and found's out about God's famous wrath. God throw's Cas into the Cage with Michael and Lucifer.
4. Maybe after Cas cool's down after thinking everyone was against him he really does become a better God like he said he was going to be. You can have the old God show up maybe pass the torch to Cas really making him the new God. Then Death can show up and reap the old God. Death did say he was going to reap God one day.
Wait, was your thread about Castiel deleted? I liked the topic, can't find it now...
One note: Did Cas' speach at the end about bowing down and all that remind anyone of when Galadrial (I THINK that was her name) touches the Ring near the end of "Lord of the Rings"?
The speech had that same feel too it like love me and fear me at the same time.
Ya they deleted it..
I seem to recall the "Lord of the Rings" speech having the phrase 'all will love me and despair'. I would love to see a trascript of both speeches at once because I'm sure they compair nicely.
