  • Quotes

    • Lucifer: (about hotel room) It's nice. Kind of like a men's room with beds.

    • Nora: Your number is not working, by the way.
Sam: Right, we, uh, we've had some technical difficulties, phone issues.
Dean: It's a monster problem, really.

    • Lucifer: Oh well, that's every cell phone Dean's got. One of them should have picked up, right? Big brother's probably dead.
      Sam: Shut up.
Lucifer: He said "shut up" to me.

    • Lucifer: That's what I'm talking about, Sam--real interaction again. I miss that. The rapier wit. The wittier rape.

    • Sam: Yeah, well, new plan. Tracking spell. Bavarian, Egyptian, I don't care. Dealer's choice. Use the flesh of the body to find the body. And Dean. Do you want the ear, or the kid?
      Lucifer: You're giving me chills.

    • Dean: (to demon) Is this what you do? Find postal workers, make them go postal?

    • Jeffrey: (to Dean) You were so desperate to fix the world back then. It kills you that people keep getting hurt. And you just can't stop it.

    • Dean: (before falling asleep) Screw consciousness, that's what I say.

    • Lucifer: (to Sam) You let me in. You wanted me, partner. So you think you can use your little tricks to banish me again, like that? No. I do believe I've got you, bunk buddy. Got my finger wiggling around in your brain pan.

Referencing Gomer Pyle, the auto mechanic who started off in The Andy Griffith Show and was played by Jim Nabors. The character proved popular enough that he was eventually spun off into Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C. A gentle, naive hayseed, Gomer was a good friend and could be counted on in a pinch. the character used several catch phrases, including "Shazam!" and Gollllyyy!"

She was spun off into her own series, The Perils of Penelope Pitstop, which was based on the old Perils of Pauline movie shorts, and spent most of her time being captured by her nemesis, the Hooded Claw.

    • Lucifer: Good morning, Vietnam!
