As Sam runs through the woods, he draws his gun. In the next shot, it disappears from his right hand. When comes around a tree, the gun is back in his hand. Finally, when he crouches down by the stream, the gun disappears again.

Lovecraft's short story, "The Haunter of the Dark" was written in November, 1935, and published in the December 1936 edition of Weird Tales, rather than written and finished in March, 1937 as shown here.

When Eve serves the two specials, the onion rings on Dean's plate are facing toward the camera, to Dean's right. When the camera cuts back, the plate has rotated 180 degrees and the onion rings are on the side of the plate to Dean's left. After Eve says "The natural order," a new camera shot shows the plate has rotated to its original position again.

Trivia: In the alternate history, Cuba is part of the United States with Cuba voted "the #1 vacation destination" and Detroit is named the best city.

Trivia: In the alternate history, the car that Sam and Dean drive has the original license plate that was used for the Impala (KAZ 2Y5) before they changed it to escape the FBI.

Trivia: In the alternate history, Bobby's scrap yard is now called the B&E Scrap Yard rather than Singer Auto.

When Bobby is attacking Dean and Sam with his knife, his grip shifts from a regular grip to a reverse grip several times as the camera shot changes.

Trivia: The Supernatural episode that they are filming in the alternate universe is titled "Echo."

During the scene where Bobby and Sheriff Mills are talking on the bridge, the Sheriff's left collar alternates between being above/below the shoulder strap of her seat belt.
