The writers did another great episode. This episode is awesome. Rich and Laura makes it to the surface, they are brought to a hospital. They go to a tv station msnbc and they get the monster footage shown all across the US. Miles watches the scientists doing an autopsy on nim. Another great episode, the writers did a good job on this one. I really had a blast watching this episode, I had a really great time. This is what I love about the show, the characters dealing with a monster. The writers did a good job with the stories.moreless

It was getting a bit stale before the break in my opinion, but this Miles storyline (is he changing into one of them, what's the craic with that?) is looking to be a whole new slant on the creatures. How did Nim do it?

I can't wait to see it unravel.

Interesting , good episode, really well acted. This is a good example of what "Surface" can offer when it's running on all cylinders. Rich and Laura are still trying to get away from the people chasing them. Miles gets closer with Nim

and is able to see his growth and development.

The character of Dr. Blum exposes him as an opportunist for Mile's discovery. Miles meets a girl Caitlin who tells him to beware of Dr. Blum, who in actuality is her father!!!

Miles is exposed to Nim's own power and is able to zap out lights.

Obviously there are all references to E.T. with Elliot and E.T. Elliot was exposed to E.T. and had a different reaction, we also see tbe two share a common physical bond.

There's also commentary on the manipulation the media plays with important scientific find. Laura thinks her reporter friend will help with her underwater footage of Nim but when the time comes the slimy networks, puts a different and skeptical

spin on the story making Laura look like a nut. Then the episode ends on a good cliffhanger with Laura getting a visit from the goons following her and Rich.

Really good episode.

Those news jerks made me so mad. I wanted to stop watching MSNBC just because of this episode of Surface.

I was shocked that Caitlyn (Caitlyn) was Blum's daughter but not surprised that she was interested in Miles.

I do hope that they only do the 15 promised episodes. I do not want them to stretch this just because of ratings. It is very good do not ruin it by stretching it.

- There is a mistake when Rich and Laura go to show Laura's friend the footage. When Laura is fast forwarding through the first part of it we clearly see the sonar video that was taken when Laura and Jackson were trying to tag the creature. This footage should have been erased from the camera when the creature that she tagged flashed and wiped out the camera in Bolenis Bay therefore she should not have that footage anymore.
