Email to Laura
Laura receives a message from a sender identified as "Plausibility T. Figurehead" and a subject line of "Have you seen this?". This reflects a spam-sending system that was in use in 2003 and 2004 that strung together random words and initials into strings like "Crossways P. Mountaineer" and "Significantly V. Coefficient" with innocuous subject lines. It made spam easy to spot by end users but hard to filter out with software.
Had Laura been more familiar with this type of spam, she might never have opened the message.
