With four individual immunity wins, Jenna ties Kelly Wiglesworth from Borneo for the most individual immunity wins by a female contestant in one season.
The editing accidentally gave away that Jenna was in the final 2 before the last immunity challenge. Note her confessional, with warpaint still on her face, in the jungle. Had she been voted out, she would not have returned to camp, and she didn't have the warpaint until after leaving camp.
In an Entertainment Weekly interview, Host Jeff Probst rated this season as #5 out of the first nine seasons. He called it, "the most unpredictable of seasons…how do you ever predict Jenna and Matthew making it to the final two?" He especially loved "breakout character" Rob Cesternino, saying that "he really reminded people how to play the game." Another plus was that Probst really liked the battle of the sexes twist thrown in at the beginning of the game.
Jenna is the second castaway (but first female) to win the final immunity challenge and then win the game.
Jenna and Heidi would later be the second and third Survivor member to pose for Playboy. Jenna was the first million dollar winner to pose.
Jenna won both immunities and Butch and Rob were voted out of the tribe.
The sole survivor Jenna won against Matt in a 6-1 vote, and was announced live in New York City.
This episode filmed during the week of December 11, 2002.
