Who do you think will be returning players in future seasons from seasons 21-24 or other seasons? My predictions:

Nicaragua-Most Likely:Brenda-Very strategical and one of the few women with great gameplay. She's the only one I see with a chance of returning because everyone on Nicaragua was unlikeable.

Redemption Island-I don't think anybody will return but Maybe: Phillip just because he's crazy!

South Pacific-Most Likely:Cochran- He is very likeable and tried to make big moves. I couldeasily see him returning.

Sophie-Great strategy but I'm not 100% sure if she would be asked to return or not.

Maybe:Jim-Looked like he would have great strategy, but he was quickly voted out.

One World-Most Likely:Troyzan- Likeable and tried to shake the game up a bit.

Kim- Best player of this season. If she wins, this will be one of the most dominant gameplays ever. She doesn't show much personality but I'm almost sure she'll play again!

Maybe but Most Likely not:Colton=He dominated the beginning of the game but was taken out due to injury, but he was unlikeable and left before the merge.

    What do you guys think?

Well, i think from the gist of the preview its people who were injured. I mean it could be regular returning players, but i think i feel that its going to be players that went out prematurely due to injury, seems like a cool little gimmick.

Which leads me to this, i will be so fn pissed off if Colten returns. The guy is garbage and thats never going to change. Slip up and say something once ok....maybe twice, but that dude nonstop just trashed Bill and was a complete dog on this show, and i will be so gd pissed off if that pile of crap returns.

Mike Skupin and Penner are imho the two main guys i wold LOVE to see return next season, great people, great players...and they both make sense if thats the route they are taking in terms of bringing back injured players that never got to finish out their seasons.

Been doing some digging, there's been 10 medically evacuated contestants (my survivor trivia failed me, didn't realise it had gotten that high!).

Michael Skupin from Season 2, Australia. I'd be curious to see if they could get him back after 11 years, but this would be a great choice.

Bruce Kanegai from Season 12, Panama. I vaguely remember this guy. Not my first pick but, eh, why not?

Gary Stritesky from Season 14, Fiji. Unfortunately I missed Fiji.

Jonathan Penner and James Clement from Season 16, Micronesia. James Clement I've had enough of over two seasons. Jonathan Penner, even though he's played twice too, was always a really enjoyable player. I wouldn't mind at all if he had another go.

Joe Dowdle from Season 18, Tocantins. I also missed Tocantins, not so unfortunate from what I hear.

Mike Borassi and Russell Swan from Season 19, Samoa. Mike B was a very early boot, I don't have any clear memories of what he did, heh. I seem to remember thinking Russell Swan got cut out of the game just as he was getting interesting. I wouldn't scream for him to come back, but that'd be all right.

Kourtney Moon and Colton Cumbie from Season 24, One World. Kourtney I will guiltily admit I'd like to see have another go purely because she had the indignity of being evacuated due to her very first challenge (and in a moment of shallowness, I'll admit I thought she was pretty). Colton...yeah Colton I could do without. It's just like Jeff said, I love a good villain but he was horrible for all the wrong reasons. I have a feeling he'll be back though. When Jeff asks the audience "do we want to see Colton again?" you know he's preping them for something.

But I'm all for this gimmick next season. If you're going to bring back returning players, this is a good way to do it that leaves a good taste in most fan's mouths. Next they need to bring back some interesting first-episode boots. It's funny how many times the first person booted seems like they had real potential.

EDIT: Penner deserves it because he was offered the mutiny twist in Cook Islandsand actually took it, haha. Dumb idea or not, no one would do that these days, which is frustrating.

Penner, Skupin, and Russell are returning.

No Colton so you may rejoice.

Is this confirmed Unova? If so, i will be freaking stoked. And Anthem, i agree...first episode boots would imho make for a great cast as a whole. What if the first of every season made up a cast, or as ive said before, the first 2 that got voted off...create a cast.

Call it Survivor: Redemption, which i know is close to Redemption Island but when i see the gimmick, Survivor: Redemption would be sufficient.

How do you know for sure? Bringing back Colton (while I would prefer they didn't) seems to be a concept which would create more viewership. Honestly I have watched all 24 seasons and I only remember half of those people well enough. Though I guess the three you mention I do and probably most regular watchers do remember. I still wouldn't put it past them to bring back Colton.

How can you people want Colton back??? I couldnt stand to look at him/her! He has a mental problem. Gay is one thing, but this guy in loony! He's more feminine than most girls I know! Hard to watch!

I mean gay is neither here nor there for me with Colton, it's just that he's such a malicious, racist bastard. In fact scratch the "racist" part, he's clearly that on some level but I don't think he was attacking Bill particularly for his race, he was just attacking Bill and race was the easiest card to play. Like I said, malicious, he'll throw whatever dirt he can. Stabbing someone in the back is one thing, we all like a bit of that in Survivor (heh), but the sort of bullying he specialised in shouldn't be a part of the show. One thing about Russell, he gave people crap a little but I don't remember him really throwing dirt on that level.

Also I've had enough gay friends to hope they're represented well on TV, and Colton plays into all the bitchy stereotypes I think we'd rather forget.

I posted this before I knew what next seasons twist would be. I just was thinking of who could be future all-stars. It looks like Colton could be back! NOOO!!!! I really hope Mike Skupin returns!

Heres an interesting tidbit, i think Unova already nailed it.

If you do a search for "Penner, Mike Skupin and Russel returning for season 25"....a youtube video will come up dated April 5th i think where someone already had posted this news. And sure enough, season 25 is about returning injured players SO....i think Colten is not coming back, which is splendid.

Penner, im SO glad is coming back, same with Mike. Russell is nice to see too, but its Penner and Mike that will have my full attention.

It is confirmed that the three returning players are Skupin, Penner and Russell Swan.

I have wanted to see Skupin come back for years, but in the past he's said he would not play again. It's been 11 years since he last played Survivor and the game has changed a ton since Outback. I'm glad to see him back.

Jonathan is a really smart and logical player, but sometimes his mouth can get him into trouble. This is his third time playing, but I think he deserves another chance.

I wasn't a huge fan of Russell, but I would rather see him come back than Mike (Samoa) Gary (Fiji) or Bruce (Exile Island). Colton probably deserves a second chance, but I wouldn't want to see him in back-to-back seasons.

The problem that a guy like Skupin is going to have is that the game is so dramatically different now. Back then, people wanted the strong around to keep things going at camp, wanted the strong to help win them into the merge, wanted the strong around for a lot of things.

Mike was a monster out there, and these days the scrawny players band together INSTANTLY...and will want to get Mike out of there asap.

And that to me, sucks. Its why i made that thread as to how they can adjust the game to make members reconsider getting rid of the strong so quick.

Personally...when i think back to season 2, it was with such fond memories. People didnt know the game as well, the adventure was there, the excitement was there, the drama was still there....and it all played itself out so greatly.

Now with how people know so much, and it seems nobody struggles on any island...they can toss your Mike Skupins off and it wont even matter. I hope it plays out diffrently, but this is what i feel will happen.

Oh im not, i just feel that peoples mindsets are sort of different than before with Survivor. Mike was always known as one of the stronger guys from this show, and i just hope people dont band together and off him because if he makes it to the merge they will think hes going to wipe them all up.

But thats just from what ive seen over the last few years lately.

I hope Mike goes very far into the game, he deserves it.

Ideally I'd say someone like him would do better obscuring his strength, you don't want to threaten people with it, try not to make it your defining characteristic (you can be a guy who is also strong rather than "the strong one")...but this is sort of a special case, in that they will all know how strong he is already (I'm assuming your typical player has seen a decent amount of Survivor, although given the past few seasons I might be wrong, haha). But based on how people like Rob and Coach were treated, his experience might be what keeps him alive.

Also, I'm a bit excited about having a three tribe season. I think Allstars was the last time this happened? They had four briefly in Yul's season (I'm blanking on the name) but three is a bit more comfortable, I think.
