  • Bam! Wow!

What a blindside! Nobody saw that one coming! Even I thought that Sierra would be ousted before no big moves happened. Boy I'm glad I was wrong!

Tyson is such a different type of character on Tocantins thatn Blood vs Water, nine seasons into the future from now. I enjoy what he adds to the table, but this is the episode that I did not really like him because he was way too mean to Sierra.

Very glad that Sierrra leaves to return to camp and not the jury house tonight! Terrific blindside and my girl lives one!moreless
  • Another great blindside.

    9.5
This was a great episode with a hilarious blindside of Tyson who was so cocky and arrogant that he was controlling the game. The episode was basically everybody telling that Sierra was going to be voted off next and that she would have to accept it. However, after Tyson lost the immunity challenge Erinn thought that it would be a good idea to vote out Tyson because he was so strong in the challenges. Erinn convinced the former Jalapao members to turn on Tyson and save Sierra from elimination. This was an awesome episode because Tyson did not see the vote coming and the sight of his face was priceless after he got voted off. This definitely was the turning point of the season.moreless
  • One of the most satisfying blindsides in the history of Survivor.

    10
The episodes starts with Sierra mortified by Brendon's exit and trying to find her way back into the game. This continues throughout the episode and Tyson and Debbie are most ungracious and nasty to her. Coach was surprisingly, a little nicer but it was obvious that he was not going to change his mind about the vote; almost as obvious as his "vivid imagination".

The reward challenge was a forgettable "run and get pieces and then do this puzzle" that we have seen so many times now over the course of the last few seasons. Considering that JT and Tyson were in the same team they might as well have not played because it was once again obvious which team would win. Erin and Debbie were also in their team so they got a free ride to the feast where we got to see Erin vomit and Debbie rant about her million children.

Stephen ended up on exile island again. No new idol in the game but he is still lucky. He did not have to live with Tyson and Coach for two days like the remaining castaways.

Immunity was a nice little game of Shuffleboard. Now this was a unique little challenge (done only once previously around six seasons back). It seemed like Tyson was going to win but then it looked like the underdog Sierra would win before Debbie seemingly closed the lid on her coffin.

Tyson was happy that Sierra lost and said how stupid it was to see someone celebrate prematurely and then loose. He would see the irony of that particular statement later. Meanwhile Erin, Taj and Stephen considered voting out Tyson . JT did not seem to be on board. And to the viewers it seemed like the usual thing Survivor does when it throws in another name just to keep the interest in the latter half of the show alive. After all Coach had said Sierra was going. The decision had been made! Right?

A classic survivor tribal council started. Tyson and Sierra started to throw punches at each other. Priceless. Jeff and Coach started to throw punches at each other. Priceless. I love Jeff. Then the voting started. And the votes were read.

    Sierra

    Tyson

    Sierra... Tyson looking so happy

Sierra... Coach and Debbie smirking like hell

    Tyson... Concern on the three

    Tyson

    Tyson... The smirks wiped off.

    Tyson voted out... PRICELESS

I would end by saying that it was obvious from Sierra's reaction at Tyson's ouster that she was not in on the plan. This does not bode well for her. She will most likely be final five and no more.

It is great when a smug player is snuffed out.moreless
  • One down and one more to go!

    8.5
Really don't know who is worse, either Tyson or Coach. As Tyson is mean-spirited and just was so mean to Sierra. Because he is such a sexist. He rubs people the wrong way. Coach just talks the talk, not really walk the walk. While both say that she is going. Thought she would be winning an immunity but Debra the principal won. Despite three votes were cast against Sierra with Brandon, her closest alley on the jury, first. The others thought that Tyson was a huge threat. Winning the first two challenges. And blindsided him. You should had seen the look on Coach's face. He was besides himself. Knowing that he will be next to go. One big blindside!moreless
