Episode Summary

The Heroes return from Tribal Council and Colby is happy with J.T.'s choice to go against his alliance to vote out Cirie. Rupert and Amanda, on the other hand, are not so happy about it and Amanda starts to lose her trust with him. Over on the Villains beach, Coach leads the tribe in meditation while Russell searches for the immunity idol and finds it. During the Reward Challenge, James injures his knee and is forced to sit out, but in the end the Villains win a chocolate feast. While the other Villains enjoy a swim, Russell tells Parvati and Coach he has the idol, and a new alliance is created. On the Heroes beach, James returns with a bandage around his knee and is allowed to stay in the game for the Immunity Challenge. The Villains win immunity again and when the Heroes return to camp, they scramble to talk to each other about the vote. Colby and Tom's alliance think the most logical choice is to vote out James, but Amanda and Rupert's alliance want Tom out.moreless

  • Heroes Becoming Villians and Villians Becoming Heroes!

    8.5
Why in the world would those Heroes keep James when they knew that they were in trouble with his leg. JT did something right for a change and voted out Cirie.

The Villians are the ones that I am growing to love when you thought you would be rooting for the Heroes. Russell despite not liking that much in Samoa, actually I like here. Despite his big mouth and ego, he is actually entertaining to watch. He knew that he was in trouble and had to look for the idol. And he did of course, naturally. While Coach lead the others into meditation. Wished that Russell would had taken part after finding the idol. The Vilians nonetheless continue to win and that the Heroes are falling apart. James with his leg and attitude should had gone. But no, they had to get rid of the well-liked Tom the fireman. And the Palau winner! Which along with Stephenie's departure may come back and bite them in the rear. All in all, the Heroes are acting like the villians and the villians are the ones acting like the heroes.moreless
  • The Villains continue their domination of the game. Russell once again shows what a terrific player he is by finding the hidden immunity idol. However, his fellow tribe mates are onto him and one tribe member's animosity begins to surface.moreless

As good an episode as this is, I am personally starting to get concerned that the game will be come predictable and even boring. I feel this way because the Villains have won all but one challenge and we pretty much keep hearing the same things from the Villains. Each person on that tribe thinks they are captain of that ship and keep saying that over and over. OK. I get it. I guess the Heroes are asking to get decimated. Why they would not vote out the injured James is ludicrous. He won't be able to perform in challenges.moreless
  • Another amazing episode!

    10
In yet another terrific addition of Survivor, I was really pleased all throughout this episode, as everything went as I wanted it to.

The challenges were both amazing, and I was really sad when James got injured, but very relieved to see him bakc!

I also thought the reward was a terrific one, and who doesn't crave chocolate after being stranded on an island in Samoa for 14 days!

I was absolutely thrilled the Villains won again, because the Heroes got to vote out one of their most annoying people.

I was really happy with this whole episode, and I would recommend it very highly. It had all the aspects of a terrific episode, and I was thrilled with the outcome, this time round!moreless
  • Russell plays an insane game... and it's only the begining.

    10
Russell finally gets the leverage needed...He discovers the idol and he can begin working his plan to take Rob-Sandra apart. He manages to turn Coach so easily...Only problem I have is his alliance with Parvati. Last season we saw that he remained true to his alliances, and with Parvati this is bad news. She will betray everything to win...Regarding the Russell-Rob war, I think Russell has a shot on eliminating him, because with the idol and all Jerri, Danielle or Tyson may get into his alliance as well...

About how this season unfolds, I think its a very nice beginning, and with the merge coming soon and all if the villains will have a 3,4 man advantage and Russell will emerge as a leader they will have no problem in taking Heroes apart...My concern is Parvati, I really hope Russell will have the strength to sacrifice her at the right time.moreless
