Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (6)

    • By the end of this episode, Ulong has been reduced to only one tribe member. This is the smallest tribe in Survivor history.

    • Rather than have the two Ulong members vote someone out, a challenge was held where the loser was eliminated. This is the first time in which a challenge has decided who would be leaving the game.

    • Jeff does not say "The tribe has spoken." in this episode. During Bobby Jon's final speech, a montage of Ulong moments from the episode is shown as there are no votes to show.

    • This episode makes Stephenie the only Survivor contestant (as part of a tribe and as a juror) to attend every Tribal Council in a season. She attended the first 10 as a player and the last five Tribal Councils as a juror. She did not attend the Koror Tribal Council that Willard was voted out at, although she did go with Ulong immediately following that.

    • Bobby Jon becomes the 8th contestant to leave the game without being voted out. The other seven are Mike Skupin (fell in fire), Paschal (drew purple rock), Osten (quit), Jenna M. (quit), Sue Hawk (quit), Wanda and Jonathan (both were not picked for a tribe).

    • Ulong loses their seventh Immunity Challenge in a row; they have never won Immunity. This is the first time in Survivor history that a tribe has lost seven Immunity Challenges in a row. It is also the first time a non-merged tribe has gone to Tribal Council eight times in a row, and the first time that a non-merged tribe has gone to Tribal Council with only two people.
