Stranded
AIRED:
Survivor is back, and this time the 16 American contestants will be battling it out in The Australian Outback for 42 days, all vying for the grand prize of $1million. At the beginning of the show, the 16 are split into two tribes - Kucha and Ogakor. In the first 3 days in the Outback, Debb begins to get on the nerves of her fellow islanders with her attempts to take control, while Kimmi's over-eagerness to have fun grabs Jeff the wrong way, and Keith and Jerri clash almost immediately. When Ogakor wins the first Immunity Challenge, Kucha makes the long hike to Tribal Council where, with a 7-1 unanimous vote, Debb is voted out of the Outback. The tribe has spoken.moreless

  • Great start!

    10
I'm really excited to be watching Season 2 of Survivor, and hopefully I'll get to see some more great seasons from a while back soon! Immediately, I recognise some of the castaways (Colby, Jerri, Amber and Michael) for being on future seasons and on TAR in Amber's case. They do look much younger, though! :P

Ogakro seemed like the stronger tribe to me. We didn't get to see too much of some of the castaways on both tribes, but I'm looking forward to learning more about them. Kimmi stood out to me on Kucha and Jerri on Ogakor because I loved Jerri on HvV.

I wasn't too surprised Debb went home, because it is only natural to get rid of the older and/or weaker members early on, and unfortunately for her, she was ousted. She was a strong competitor, and if she had a couple of tribemates woh were a little weaker, she probably could've gone much further.

Hoping to see more great episodes and I hope this season leives up to expectations!moreless
  • It sound's like the start to a brilliant second season

    8.3
Well it has happened, Survivor just returned for the second season and this time round, it will take place in the Australian Outback where 16 average Americans will play the game to win the $1,000,000 and become the sole Survivor.

In this episode, I guess the audience came to know some people like Jerri and Amber. Nice task design, and a hell of a nice intro theme. The 16 people on this season seem to be quite reasonable and fair.

In the end, automatically, Debb was voted out by her tribe and we're down to 15. It just shows you how changable people can be in their decisions.

I say, overall, it looks like we have a second season to bring new excitement to the show.moreless
  • In this episode, Kucha lost immunity and voted out annoying Debb.

    9.4
The season began with 16 average Americans stranded in the middle of the Australian Outback. The two tribes, Kucha and Ogakor were forced to find their camp and make a shelter which was exciting because you got to see the first sight of the personalities of the people in the tribes. On the Kucha tribe, Michael became the dominant personality which annoyed others along with Debb who annoyed Kimmi. Kimmi also annoyed others with talking all night. Ogakor also faced problems because Keith and Jerri got on each others nerves because of Jerri's personality. Ogakor easily won the immunity challenge sending Kucha to tribal council where Jeff, who was sick got one vote, but Debb got all the rest making her the first person voted out the tribe. This was a great episode because it showed the teams facing the elements and each other.moreless
  • Not surprised Debb got the ax!

    8.8
I wasn't surprised that Debb got the ax

She thought that she could boss everybody around

But it wore on people's nerves a lot

As well as she signed her own death warrant

I thought Jeff Varner was going to deck Kimmi

Because she also got on everybody's nerves

About her vegetarian and sex lifestyle

Despite Debb's bossiness, Kimmi should had gone

    And not Debb.
