Episode Summary

EDIT
Due to a tie for the majority of the vote, two of the Final Four players must compete in a race to build a fire big enough to burn a string that will raise a flag once it breaks. The winner moves on to the Final Three, and the loser becomes the sixth juror. With the hidden immunity idol no longer in play, no one is sent to Exile Island following the final reward challenge. The Final Three do, however, go to Exile Island one last time to pay tribute to the players they outlasted by collecting their torches, placing them on the log skull, raising the Exile flag and setting the skull ablaze. They then compete in the final immunity challenge which helps determine who advances to the Final Two.moreless

  • A good winner.

Well the finale has me feeling a lot of different emotions - namely first off sad to see Cirie outed at fourth. Then we get Terry winning a challenge which is not for final Immunity, but rather a reward.

Danielle of all people scrapes through with final immunity and you'd have to feel she'd have a tough time betaing either person but taking Terrry out was obviously the right call. She'd have no chance against him.

I thought Danielle would win especially after she received a surprising vote for her from Bruce, and also Shane's random number guessing game competition. I thought Danielle would also get a vote for her from Austin for sure because they seemed to bond well on Exile Island. I thought she's gonna get Sally's vote too, since Sally was on Danielle's original tribe and didn't spend too much time on a tribe with Aras.

Nonetheless, it was interesting. Aras deserved the win, although I would've liked Danielle to win.

Exile Island has been great - a truly brilliant season of Survivor mainly due to the phenomenal and flawless casting.moreless
  • What went wrong?

    8.0
It was disappointing that Terry did not become the Sole Survivor. Terry deserved to win, because it was his season to win. The upward battle he fought and the impressive five straight immunity wins made him deserving. Danielle was stupid for not keeping her word of bringing Terry to the Final Two. But if Terry could not win, then Aras is okay I suppose. Terry would have won if he went to the Final Two with Danielle, which stinks for Daniell, because she had no chance of winning. Aras was okay, but he was too fake. He tried to appeal to everybody.moreless
  • Right decision, bad mistkae

    8.1
Final 3 danielle suprisingly wins the final immunity becoming just the third person to win immunity in Survivor Exile Island. Eventhough she promised Terry she would bring him to the final two, she also nodded to Aras to get him to jump off the lillypad which made no sense to me as to why Aras listened to her since he knew Terry and Danielle were wroking together

In the end Danielle breaks her promise to Terry and votes him off and after some interesting, tough and wierd questions from the jury where Shane says he dsilikes both so he tells them to pick a number between 1 and 1 million. Courtney gives a wierd speech about being stabbed in the back, a sea of forgivenss and being a bird??? 0.o

In the end Aras wins 5-2 obtaining votes frm Cirie, Courtney, Terry, Sally, Austen while Bruce and Shane (Danielle picked the right number i guess?) voted for Danielle.

    Overall and alrite final.moreless

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (1)

    • Terry won his fourth reward in the individual phase of the game, a "Survivor" record. Along with his five individual immunities, Terry has the most ever victories (nine) during the individual phase of any "Survivor" season.

  • QUOTES (0)

  • NOTES (3)

    • Terry's elimination vote from Danielle was the only vote cast against him for this entire season.

    • For the first time in series history, a Reward Challenge was held with only three contestants remaining. Also, this is the first time a Reward Challenge has been run in the season finale. In previous seasons, Reward Challenges have stopped once the game was down to the final four. The lone exception was the Outback season, in which a Reward Challenge was held in the next-to-last episode with four contestants remaining.

    • Danielle wins the tie-breaker challenge and Terry is voted out of the final three. The final two are Danielle and Aras.
