For the first time in the history of the show, during one season, two contestants (Jim and Brandon) win an individual immunity challenge in an episode and are voted out in that same episode.
Brandon becomes the fourth player ever to win an individual immunity challenge in an episode and be voted out in that same episode. Jim Rice from South Pacific, Jolanda Jones from Palau and Erik Reichenbach from Micronesia were the others.
The season finale of "Survivor: The Amazon" had a similiar title, "...And Then There Were Four".
Brandon is sent to Redemption Island.
Brandon wins immunity in this episode but gives it to Albert.
Ozzy wins his fifth Redemption duel and Edna joins the jury.
Coach says the episode's title referring to the fact that the merged tribe now consists of the original Upolu alliance.
