When Razor fires the Banshee missiles at Shard, you can see them being fired from Dr. Greenbox's weapon rather than fired normally. The weapon would've needed to retract back into the jet first before Razor could've fired them off.
This episode marks Dr. Lieter Greenbox's first of two appearancees.
This marks Rex Shard's first and only appeareance.
This is the first episode in which the villain isn't one of the recurring chracters.
When the sonic screams of the Banshee Missiles shatter the lens of Jonny's camera, it is suddenly fixed a couple of shots later.
Lem (the prison guard with sunglasses) is in a differant position when he is restored to normal than he was when he was crystallized.
When Mayor Manx and his golf cart were crystallized, he was at the Megakat Springs golf course. However, when he returns to normal he's in the desert with no sign of the golf course anywhere.
When Razor fires the Banshee Missiles at Shard, they improbably come out of the Gemkat 6000 mounted on the Turbokat's undercarriage.
After the second commercial break, the structure of Shard's crystalline face is suddenly differant.
Shard's powers and how he controls them are pretty vague. Is his ability to crystallize stuff voluntary or involuntary? Sometimes when Shard walks, he leaves crystallized footprints, while at other times he doesn't, and when he steps on Dr. Greenbox's jeep, the broken bits of the automobile are crystallized as well. Similarly, when he's hit in the face by cement slugs at one point, the cement crystallizes on his face, but other than the footprints, this is the only instance where anything is crystallized simply by coming into contact with Shard's body without him actually touching them (with his hands).
T-Bone: Those test targets are nothing but sitting ducks. (The test targets start firing live ammunition at the Turbokat) WHOA!! Razor, they're shooting live ammo.
Razor: Well, it wouldn't be a test run if there weren't some danger.
T-Bone: Betcha two cases of tuna Feral takes all the credit for this.
Razor: Who cares? We've got better things to do. Like, uh, pickin' up some girls?
T-Bone: Rock and roll!
Commander Feral: The Enforcers can handle it from here! It's back to the brick litterbox for you, Shard.
Rex Shard: I've had enough of you Swat Gnats!
(While zapping the Kat's Eye News chopper)
Rex Shard: No interviews!
Rex Shard: More company, eh? Well, that's okay. I've got plenty of pain to go around!
Commander Feral: Ohh, this is Feral. Bring me... more chopper backup.
Ann Gora: The crowd is frozen with tension as the honorable Mayor Manx addresses the ball for the last hole of his own tournament. This is Ann Gora for Kat's Eye News.
(She yawns)
Ann Gora: And this is the most boring day of my career.
Rex Shard: The famous Swat Kats, huh? Do your worst! There's nothing I can't handle! Nothing!
(After blasting Shard with the cement machine gun)
Razor: Cement machine guns. Don't leave base without 'em.
T-Bone: What're you doin' here, Miss Briggs?
Callie Briggs: It was either this or golf, and you know how I feel about golf.
Rex Shard: What kind of a fool do you take me for, Talon?
Talon: The kinda fool servin' a nine-life sentence.
(Discussing the Gemkat 6000)
Warden Meece: Right now, a workin' model of this is bein' tested by a prisoner at the mines.
Callie Briggs: But, is it safe?
(Mayor Manx studies the blueprints)
Mayor Manx: Eh, looks complicated...
According to Lance Falk, Rex Shard was supposed to have returned in a second episode entitled Cold War, where he would've gained the ability to control the weather by diving into an experimental energy source, before the series was cancelled.
When everything is returning to normal at the end of the episode, the only location we aren't shown being restored is Warden Meece's office because Meece, upon being turned to crystal, fell over and shattered.
Al, the Kat's Eye News chopper pilot, has a silent cameo in this episode.
