This is the first time more than one villain appears in the same episode.
Despite being shot with Hackle's gun by Feral in Metal Urgency, The Metallikats remembers that Callie was the one who denied their paroles, so shouldn't they also remember Swat Kats' secret identities?
The main Enforcer Sergeant looks different here than in all but one of his his previous appearances (Enter the Madkat) and all his subsequent appearances, with a differant uniform and sharper features. He only looks like this here and in Enter the Madkat.
As he and Callie are walking down the hall, Commander Feral clearly walks past the door marked "Evidence Room." He continues walking, then enters the same door farther down the hall.
Chance argues that the loss of the stolen money and the destruction of the Megakat Tunnel isn't his and Razor's fault, citing that Dr. Viper and the Metallikats have teamed up. Unfortunately, the money was destroyed when T-Bone blasted the Metallikat Express, and the tunnel itself when he launched a barrage of missiles at the Metallikats. Therefore, it is entirely the SWAT Kats' fault and the villain teamup has little to do with their excessive use of force. Of course, Callie fails to point this out.
Callie: I hope you guys had a good reason to destroy Megakat Biochemical Lab.
T-Bone: It wasn't our fault Ms. Briggs. Razor suspects that Viper and the Metallikats are working together.
Callie: You'll never convince Feral of that. Be careful you guys, Feral is after your heads.
T-Bone: So is Razor.
Jake (answers phone): Hang on, I'll get it. (cement gun hit Chance)
Chance: I already have.
Razor: Commander Feral?
T-Bone: Don't tell me you came here to save us?
Feral: I'm here to save the mayor and Ms. Briggs. But as usual, you two are in my way.
Razor: Yeah, glad to see you too Commander.
Mayor Manx: The Swat Kats and Feral working together??????? Now I have seen everything.
Mac: Sure was nice of Dark Kat to give us a new set of wheels.
Molly: Yeah. Too bad you still can't drive.
(About the Metallikats.)
Sergeant: I'm gonna enjoy slamming those tin cans.
Dr. Viper: So, Dark Kat wants the katalyst too. Well, Dr. Viper plays second fiddle to no one!
The special goggles that Razor wears in order to use the new swivel turret first appeared in Destructive Nature.
Based on an unused script by Lance Falk entitled Blowout, which followed much the same story except that Dark Kat's hideout was in an abandoned amusement park, and some of the order of events are different (for instance, the creeplings steal the Metallikats' heads from the Enforcer lockup before Dr. Viper breaks into Megakat Biochemical). It also contained a sequence that never made it into the final cut of the episode as written by Glenn Leopold, set aboard Dark Kat's mobile command center, the Fear Train.
