The creeplings looked much smaller then usual, when they got the missile with Hard Drive in it from the prison.
Goof: When Hard Drive collected the money in the Turbokat, there was only 5 or 6 bags of money, but when the Swat Kats retrieved it at the end, it was dozens of them.
This is Hard Drive's first appearance on the show.
There's no way that Hard Drive can still be alive. Not only should he have died when the computer he was "in" was blasted by Razor, but moments later he sustains a direct hit from a bazooka. This is an unusually "toony" moment for the series.
When Razor says, "Don't worry, my Glovatrix is specially insulated," he isn't even wearing a Glovatrix.
Hard Drive's tail is missing when he's talking to Dark Kat early on in the sewer.
Hard Drive: (To the Creeplings) You little creeps. When I get out of here, I'm gonna light you up like a Christmas tree.
(The Swat Kats are performing another test run with the Turbokat)
T-Bone: This new engine's got enough mega-thrust to keep us airborne all by its lonesome.
Razor: Yeah. It's amazing what you can find in a salvage yard, huh T-Bone?
Hard Drive: (charges at T-Bone) OOOOH!!! I knew I should've fried you when I had the chance.
T-Bone: Take your best shot. (punches Hard Drive to a nearby computer, and Hard Drive attempts to escape through it)
Hard Drive: I'm out of here.
Razor: You said it. (fires a missile at the computer destroying it and flushing Hard Drive out)
T-Bone: Time for a new suit, Hard Drive. How about prison pin-stripes?
Dark Kat: Seems like Megakat City is in a bit of a financial crisis.
Hard Drive: Yes. Manx would probably have to raise taxes.
Dark Kat: Well I guess I'll send you off in the Turbokat for another collection.
(T-Bone and Razor crash through the ceiling)
T-Bone: Sorry. The Turbokat has been repossessed.
T-Bone: Ya might wanna keep this guy (Hard Drive) in that missile, Feral. He gets a kick from zipping through wires.
Feral: What do you think I am, stupid?
T-Bone and Razor: (With thumbs up) Bingo!
Ann Gora: Attention! This is Ann Gora with a Kat's Eye News flash! The Swat Kats are trashing Megakat City!
Dark Kat: No, I am!
Ann Gora: Amazing as it may seem, our beloved Swat Kats have destroyed two skyscrapers! (she hears an explosion) Make that four skyscrapers!
Feral: Do you know how much havoc you two have caused tonight? You've cut the power to half of Megakat City!
T-Bone: What's wrong, Feral? Afraid of the dark?
T-Bone: Here comes the cavalry, late as usual.
This is the first and only time in the series, that the Swat Kats have ever captured Dark Kat.
This episode marks the second time that the SWAT Kats have inadvertently blacked out half of Megakat City.
Second of four episodes in the first season to be animated by Mook.
Episode Title: Night of the Dark Kat.
The title is an allusion to the James Agee and Charles Laughton's movie The Night of the Hunter (1955) starred by Robert Mitchum, Shelley Winters and Lillian Gish and based on the novel by Davis Grubb.
