    • (overhearing the guys talking about a vacation ion Hawaii)
Kay: Man, don't that sound nice; lying on the beach, lots of good times going, when the phone rings it's room service saying they're on their way up with the goodies.
Lt. Harrelson: You sound like you're ready for a vacation.
      Kay: Always.
Lt. Harrelson: No way Deke, this place would fall apart without you.
Kay: Ooh, I figured you would say something like that.

    • (at the training exercise site)
Lt. Harrelson: Sunset S.W.A.T. 4, this is Olympic S.W.A.T. leader, do you read me?
      Frank Baylor: Loud and clear.
Lt. Harrelson: Are you in position?
Frank Baylor: Hondo, I'm looking through my scope at you right now. If I were one of the bad guys, you and your team would be out of it.
Lt. Harrelson: Wishful thinking, Frank. The exercise doesn't start for another 60 seconds.
Frank Baylor: Well, I'm up here waiting for you.
      Lt. Harrelson: And we're coming.

    • (at the hospital after the explosion)
Street: Hey, you guys all right?
Lt. Harrelson: My bones ache. Even my hair hurts.
Kay: Hey, and I keep seeing six of you guys.
Lt. Harrelson: The main thing is, we missed buying it for now. We lucked out. Someone's got us set up as a target, someone with weapons, explosives and apparently some kind of obsession with S.W.A.T. They killed Frank Baylor, they just made a major league pass at Deacon and me, it may be only the beginning. So if any of you been wanting to transfer out, I can't think of a better time.
      (silence from Street and McCabe)
Kay: Sorry Hondo, looks like you're stuck with them.
Lt. Harrelson: Then what are we standing around for? Let's nail these people, whoever they are, before they make another pass at us.

    • Lt. Harrelson: (trying to convince Deke to take a vacation so he will be out of harm's way) Deke, I want you to think of Cleo and the kids.
Kay: I am thinking about them. Every time I put this uniform on and leave that house, I figure it's the last time I'll ever see them. And like I said, it goes with the territory. You and the other guys, you've got families too. And if they're not gonna to take a vacation, I ain't gonna stand for any discrimination.
