      In the chocolate round the chefs must create a tasty dish using both a chewy fruit and a savory appetizer as mandatory ingredients. The candy dish has chefs drawing inspiration from Dream Catchers. In the final round contestants must make a biblical object that causes them to pair up ingredients.

      Season 3 - Episode 5

      In this special Thanksgiving themed episode, chefs are challeged with inspiration and ingredients from the banquet table, football viewing and more.

    • Electric Genius
      Season 3 - Episode 10

      Things get loud in the chocolate round when rock music serves as inspiration along with a crunchy cereal ingredient. The candy challenge gets difficult when the contestants are instructed to use strawberry drink and peppers as ingredients. The final cake challenge's inspiration is a party favorite with a surprise inside.

    • Samba Genius
      Season 3 - Episode 12

      In the chocolate round chefs must mix a mandatory blue ingredient with a yellow one. The candy test has competitors using a colorful tube shaped toy as inspiration. Finally in the cake round chefs travel back in time to use a classic spicy snack as a mandatory ingredient.

    • Holiday Genius
      Season 3 - Episode 7

      In this Holiday-themed episode the chocolate round has a visitor from the North Pole as inspiration using pudding and a yule-tide candy. The candy round has a very cold inspiration that must be made with a colorful drink and a starchy packaged food. Finally in the cake challenge have the contestants using beets to make something with a magical inspiration.

    • Wedded Genius
      Season 3 - Episode 13

      The chocolate round's inspiration has taken flight and the chefs must use ketchup as an ingredient. The candy test challenges chefs to get spun up with the inspiration while they use instant noodles and milk fruit ingredients. In the cake round chefs must think "white" as a wedding dress is used as their inspiration.

    • Sci-Fi Genius
      Season 3 - Episode 11

      The contestants soar in the first round when challenged to make a space inspired dish using olives and classic candy. In the hopping candy round amphibians serve as inspiration for dishes using green and orange ingredients. The cake round has a leaning tower as inspiration as chefs use savory ingredients.

    • Glowing Genius
      Season 2 - Episode 11

      In the chocolate challenge the contestants must use soup to create a dish that glows.Then chefs receive a sticky ingredient and are asked to create something bear inspired. In the final round candy and grape leaves must be used to create a water inspired cake dish.

    • Global Genius
      Season 1 - Episode 6

      First chefs must create a dessert using seaweed with a conch shell for inspiration. Second chefs must use a globe as inspiration using a rare Asian fruit as their secret ingredient. Finally chefs have a colorful inspiration with a dark beverage for an ingredient.

      Season 2 - Episode 7

      In the first challenge, Chef Ron gives the contestants a chocolate challenge featuring baby-themed inspiration and ingredients. In the candy challenge chefs must use both tart and pungent ingredients to create a kitschy inspiration theme. The final challenge has contestants creating cake using a famous building as inspiration and 3 mandatory ingredients.

      Season 2 - Episode 10

      In the chocolate round, chefs are tasked to create a dish with a slithering inspiration. Then a common vegetable must be transformed in the candy round. Finally the chefs must make a cake with a retro music box serving as inspiration.

      Season 1 - Episode 5

      First chefs must make a frozen dessert inspired by a jellyfish. Second chefs must use duck fat and fusili to make a diamond inspired dessert. Finally chefs must create a dish inspired by air.

      Season 1 - Episode 2

      First the chefs must create a frozen dessert using hard-boiled eggs. Second the chefs must use ingredients not normally found in desserts. The final test has the chefs creating a cat themed dessert using gummy candies.

      Season 3 - Episode 8

      Chefs must make sweet desserts using ingredients like chicken stock, fennel, and juicy fruits.

    • Plane Genius
      Season 2 - Episode 13

      Round one challenges chefs to use exotic fruit and a ballpark fave to make a chocolate dish. Then the candy round has a woven inspiration using a British ingredient. The final test challenges chefs to create a royally inspired cake.

    • Disco Genius
      Season 1 - Episode 7

      First chefs must create a frozen dessert using jelly beans and hot sauce. Then chefs must use unicorns as inspiration for their baked dessert. Finally chefs must use carbonated candies to create a disco ball themed chocolate dessert.

    • Fiery Genius
      Season 1 - Episode 8

      First chefs are challenged to make a frozen dessert using cheese puffs. Next chefs must use multi colored freeze pops to make a baked dessert. Finally chefs must use a Chinese Dragonhead as the inspiration for a chocolate dessert.

    • Speechless Genius
      Season 2 - Episode 6

      Chef Ron Ben-Israel first tests his contestants to make a chocolate dessert marshmellows and water chestnuts. Then in the candy round he serves a twisted inspiration using fruit rolled snacks and shortbread for ingredients. Then in the cake round contestants must be careful not to get too cracked up using the mandatory ingredient.

    • Halloween Genius
      Season 3 - Episode 2

      Chefs are tasked to make Halloween-themed desserts using ingredients like dried fungi, onions and an Asian drink.

    • Relative Genius
      Season 2 - Episode 8

      In this special episode two families compete to see who will be the next Sweet Genius. Challenges include using an inspiration full of flight, making candy using salty ingredients, and an exotic inspiration in the cake round.

    • Dancing Genius
      Season 2 - Episode 2

      Chef Ron Ben-Israel challenges the hopeful geniuses to create a chocolate dessert using sweet cookies and strong cheese. Then contestants must make candy using both vegetables and fruit. In the final round, pastries must be made using orange soda and pretzel rods.

    • Golden Genius
      Season 2 - Episode 1

      In the chocolate challenge chefs must create a fish inspired dish out of toaster pastries. The candy challenge draws inspiration from a robot using astronaut ice cream. In the final challenge a circus performer acts as inspiration for cakes using a spicy drink mix.

      Season 1 - Episode 1

      First the chefs are challenged to create a "darkness" themed dessert using red hot candies. Second the chefs must use a bejeweled egg as inspiration. The final test involves a bone-chilling ingredient.

      Chefs must show their culinary genius by making dishes inspired by canines, clowns and a cuckoo clock.

    • Magic Genius
      Season 2 - Episode 3

      Chef Ron Ben-Israel has some tricks up his sleeve when he challenges contestants to make a chocolate dessert using cheese and chilis. The second round has contestants creating candy desert using a common breakfast ingredient. Magic is the inspiration for the final round when contestants must create a cake using uncommon dessert ingredients.

      First chefs must create a frozen dessert inspired by butterflies using squid ink and candied ginger an ingredients. Next chefs must create a baked dessert inspired by a candelabra. Finally chefs must create a chocolate dessert using a carousel as inspiration.

      Season 3 - Episode 4

      The chefs competing on Sweet Genius this week must use a marionette, a symbol of peace and a suprisingly conceptual item for inspiration.

      Season 3 - Episode 3

      First challenge is an erupting inspiration using chorizo and fruit filling. The second challenge involves a marionette inspiration with pizza dough and coffee. The last challenge has an enchanting figure as the inspiration fora cake using matzo and a berry drink.
