Daphne meets with Principle Rose and is told that Carlton will remain open but it will be consists of 50% hearing students. Toby and Nikki announce their engagement to John and Kathryn. Noah confirms to Bay about him having a connection with Daphne. Adriana tells Regina that Angelo called her and says he arranged for her to attend rehab. Bay drives Lana to a doctor's appointment and realizes that she is in labor. Nikki tells Toby she feels they might be rushing into marriage. Kathryn accompanies Bay to the hospital, and learns from Angelo that Lana and the baby took off.

Regina arrives late for work and is immediately fired by her boss. Daphne stops Travis from attempting to beat up the person with a baseball bat. John approves Bay's ideas for his campaign. Toby is smitten by Elisa and finds out she's the daughter of his father's opponent. Bay sees Regina coming home and senses something wrong with her.

The students rally in protest on the eve of the opening of their play "Romeo and Juliet" and completely take over Carlton hoping to save it. Bay's participation in the campaign to save the school is challenged. Emmett confronts Daphne about him seeing her and Noah sharing a kiss. Melody tries her best to get the kids to come out and end their protest, with no luck. Bay tells Daphne that the police have arrived outside.
