Valerie Bertinelli plays Sydney Kells. Sydney has been making her living as a P.I. in New York but decides to return home to Los Angeles. At home, she has to deal with her smart family (a tough ex-cop dad, a worried mom, and a goofy brother). She also has to juggle a strange boss, an upper class friend and an array of clients for the cases she takes. Not to mention, she's single and worried about dating. The theme song ("Finish What Ya Started") was played by Valerie Bertinelli's husband, Eddie Van Halen, and his band, Van Halen.moreless
