  • A good episode featuring Suzu Edowaga as the main character.

So after Reiko got an appearance in the last episode now it's Suzu's turn to shine in the limelight. Actually, I enjoyed Reiko's episode much more than Suzus, for two reasons. The first reason is because this episode was difficult to follow at first, and it was un-interesting to the point that it just didn't want to make me watch much of it, even if some parts were suspenseful. The second reason is because that this episode is "filler" and wasn't orignally incorporated into the show, and eh I would've prefered something canon over it... but overall this episode did not dissapoint me too much and it gave Suzu an episode in which it was all about her.moreless

    • (After Suzu failed an attempt to blow on a reed pipe)
      Yoko: Look, help her.
      Haruka: Me? Why?
Yoko: It doesn't matter. Just say something like "You can do it", or "Go for it".
Haruka: (In a bored tone) You can do it. Go for it.
Suzu: Haruka! I will, I will do my best!
      Haruka: Did it work?
Yoko: The way you said it was questionable, but I'd say it worked.

    • (After Kantaro shows that he can blow on a reed pipe)
Haruka: Not that I want to praise you, but the sound is good.
Kantaro: Yay! Haruka praised me! Hurray!
Haruka: I said, "not that I want to praise you", didn't I?
Kantaro: But it's the same as "you praised me", I'm so happy!

    • Yoko: To me having a cottage is such an unreachable dream! Hurrah for the Edowaga family!
Suzu: Um, it isn't our cottage. My father became ill back when I was little. We rented this cottage for him to recover.
Yoko: I see. But you know, at least you have the money to rent a cottage-
      Kantaro: Did you say something?
      Yoko: Nope!

    • Suzu: Yes it must all have been a piece of a summer's dream. Shikija: A Cicada skin like a piece of a summer's dream.
