This episode was ordered by CBS to be a pilot for possibly a spin-off of Taina. The spin-off was supposed to show Taina as 18 and a hip-hop sensation. Unfortunately, Nickelodeon felt that Taina only appealed to teenage, Hispanic girls. The show was cancelled without the third season or a spin-off.
