This episode was so funny! It is the reason I started watching Tak and the Power of Juju. My favorite part was definatly the chicken dude! I laughed so hard I cried! This was definatly a great first episode. I imagine it caught alot of viewers attention and made them want to watch the show. It definatly did for me. Ok I have no more to say so.... i am going to repeat the word hi! Hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi. And now bye bye bye bye bye bye! Ha ha!moreless
  • What was that!?!

    6.2
I originally wasn't going to watch this. Even fact, on the premiere I had better things to do. I ended up watching the second part of this episode at the 8:30 re-run. Yesterday, I watched "Woodiefest" and that wasn't half-bad either. One of the things I liked about this episode is that, it incorporated some of the jokes from the game in a way that made them original. (Unlike "The Emperor's New School") But this episode just wasn't good enough. The first episode in a series like this is supposed to get you excited about what's next. That just didn't happen.moreless
  • An interesting start to an interesting show...

    8.3
I personatly liked this episode. I thought it was a great was to introduce the show and all the characters without making it too geeky. Woodie fest was the first part of it. In this part, Woodies are trying to get into the tribe so Tak tries to get them away. This has alot of comedy and some action but mostly comedy. It was ok. The next part was called Loser. It was about Lok bragging about himself and Tak getting jelous and messing up everything for him. Because this was the first episode, I wouldn't judge it too much. I would recomend this episode to people that haven't played the games.moreless
  • The series premiere of Tak and the Power of Juju!

    8.0
When I heard that the video game series, Tak and the Power of Juju was going to become an animated series, I was thrilled. I never got a chance to play the games, but I thought that they sounded and looked really interesting.

I had very high expectations for the series premiere and the pilot episode met them pretty well. All of the characters seemed to be very unique and the animation is also really nice (very similar to the video game graphics). The only major flaw was that the episode storylines were a little bland. I was hoping for something exciting, but it didn't really have that.

Although there were a few corny jokes, I couldn't help grinning at a few of them. For some reason, I love shows that have a lot of this kind of humor (i.e. Johnny Test).

I'll most likely continue watching the series, regardless of the first episode's rather boring storylines. I have a feeling that Tak and the Power of Juju will get better as time goes on.moreless
