      • When Mary begins to run to the UFO, you see a soldier bend to shoot and then she runs in slow motion. The soldier bends down again, then the soldier bends down a third time when he's told to. Edit

      • Allie: (narrating) Most of the fights people have are about something simple. You want something the other person has, or maybe they're afraid you're going to want it and they go after you first. People always think that if they win, then that's the end. Everything will be all right from then on. Then everything changes. And tomorrow, the thing you were fighting for will just be a memory. Like everything else, it's already happened. Edit
      • Beers: Just how powerful is this little girl, Doctor? Wakeman: She's demonstrated powers beyond anything we imagined. She can manipulate time. She has amazing abilities to screen and to project images from our minds. Just how powerful is she? The question you should be asking is, "Why is she letting us take her anywhere at all?" Edit
      • Mary: Do you know who I am? Allie: Not exactly. Mary: Well, um, our families go way back. Mine and your mom's and your dad's. I kind of think that you and I might be the end of all this. Allie: We might just be the beginning. Your grandfather wasn't a very happy man. Why are you trying so hard to be like him? Edit
