  • a young woman "norma", a theif, is picked up by a wealthy man. she thinks she hit the jackpot by getting picked up by a rich man, but she turns out to be wrong.moreless

In the style of Psycho comes this Tales From the Crypt episode. I actually liked this one. A theif Norma steals a truck. She breaks down, an a wealthy man comes and picks her up. He stops at the store to buy her some oysters and wine. He seems like such a nice guy until he brings her home. I don't want to say too much about the ending but I seen it coming. It's not one of those endings that have a twist, but knowing who is the killer is kind of a suprise. I will watch this one again.moreless
  • We never did find out what was \"Norma\'s\" real name was. Other than that I found it quite satisfying and treasure the insinuation of S&M when Broooke starts to tie the man to his bed frame. Quite Evergreen Reviewish, don\'t you think?moreless

We never did find out Norma\'s real name. Other than that the episode was quite kicky not to mention kinky. I\'m referring of course to when Brooke starts tieing the man to the bedframe. Quite Evergreen Reviewish don\'t you think? This was HBO at it\'s cutting edge. No other actress other than 6 feet tall Brooke Shields could\'ve pulled it off.

    • [Opening wraparound segment with the Crypt Keeeper dressed as an airline attendant on an airplane.]

The Crypt Keeper: (through the intercom) Good evening, creeps, and welcome aboard Tales from the Crypt Scarelines flight 666, offering direct service from your living room straight to hell. (laughs) As we will be experiencing some tur-boo-lence, we recommend that you keep your seatbelts fastened, and your vomit bags handy. So slip on your dead-sets and get ready for tonight's in-fright entertainment. (talks regularly) It's a nasty tale about my favorite kind of ghoul, dread-heads. I call it, "Came the Dawn".

[Closing wraparound segment with the Crypt Keeeper in an electric chair.]

The Crypt Keeper: Hmm...I know they say blondes have more fun, but you gotta admit, redheads really know how to swing. (laughs) So, 'til next time, kiddies, I hope you'll excuse me, but I've got a little private business to take care of. It's the only way to fry. (laughs) I've always wanted to join the Mile-Die Club. (electrocutes self and laughs).

    • [Spoiler Warning]

Norma: (shocked) Oh my god, Roger!
Roger: (holding axe) I'm gonna make you look like that b*tch in the restaurant (A terrified Norma cowers in front of the TV) I'll fix your a** for good!!!
      Norma: Ahhh!!!
(Running to the back door, Roger misses and smashes the TV. Norma tries to open the door but the chain prevents her.)
      Norma: No, No, Help!
Roger: (looms over horrified Norma) Roger is Mine!
(brings the Axe down on Norma over and over, while blood seeps from under the door).
