    Episode Discussion, The New Arrival.

Ok, I know everyone loves this episode but personally I found it weak and stupid with a bad ending, I know I'm alone on this one because It's pretty popular, I just didn't like it though.

Oh god! How can you not like it? It may not have the greatest ending or anything but its a very entertaining episode. Like most of the seasons except for 1 and 6 I don't remember much but I do remember how scary The New Arrival was.

I remember how I got the cruel feeling when people died in that episode. It made me fear that creepy girl as well as the creepy woman.

    How many people died anyway?

I totally loved it. It is one of the few episodes that I still find genuinely scary. I'm sure Peter Medak's direction helped the great atmosphere too, after all he is the guy who made the unsettling movie "The Changeling."

At first, I didn't like it much (due to Zelda R.'s voice), but recently I watched it again and found it to be very creepy. Give it another chance, sniktawt. You never know.

Yeah you're right Zelda' s voice may be one of the reasons why I don't like it, i'm one of the few who don't like poltergeist either and it may be because of her or something. I dunno. But if going for creepy was what they wanted by casting her then they got that in spades, she's creepy beyond creepy. I will give it another chance , sponge, for sure.

I do love David Warner in this tho, he's always good, he's got one of the greatest death scenes ever in The original Omen.

I've never seen Poltergeist, but she certainly is creepy. If you didn't like the episode that's ok because there are many other great ones to enjoy from this particular year of 'Tales'.

I liked this episode. The thing I didn't like is it seemed to rely on the suspense of what (orwho)was under the mask with a lot of filler things in the sub plot. I guess if you don't thinkn the ending is creepy you probably wouldn't like this episode.

Does anyone else notice how that one snobby lady that joins Dr. Getz is dressed almost exactly like Geraldine from Let the Punishment Fit the Crime. Even the shoes. lol sorry something I noticed while I watched this episode today.

Haha Real funny. I should knock you out and when you wake up you'll be in Falicity's room or the basement in Stuekvill's courthouse. Your choice. lol kidding.

    Very very creepy episode!

Saw it today, and thought I'd comment.

I liked the part where the fan came down and decapitated that one woman. Wasn't expecting it.

This one had me on the edge of my seat for a good while.

    I loved the ending.

One thing I don't get, is Nora evil or just insane?

    Excellent episode.

I'd say Nora is just insane.

Yeah, but her tying Getz up confused me a little.

I guess Dr. Kassir was a slight reference to John?

This is a great episode...the guy who plays Dr. Getz (he's been in EVERYTHING but I can't remember his name) is so unlikeable that you love to see him get it in the end, and Twiggy (1960's supermodel) is fun...but Zelda is awesome, as usual. I really like her, because she's got such a unique feel to her....though I kind of assumed the ending before it happened...still, great episode.
