Bad puns aside, this is an unofficial chat thread (of sort) for the Tales from the Crypt message board! Talk about anything within reason, such as what you did today, what TftC episodes you've watched, what are you listening to, stuff like that.

Sorry I haven't been around, everybody!
I got the Nintendo Wii when it came out, so, naturally, nearly all of my time has been put into it.
What's odd was, a few days ago, my queue was over 50, but today when I actually sat down to go through it, my queue was halved...maybe a TV.com moderator took care of some?
    Anyway, I'm back now. Hopefully.
Special applause for sniktawt for providing a large number of notes about just what comics the episodes came from.

Thanks Sponge, working on more now, Just into watching the rest of season 6 and seven that I got from the space channel a few years ago.

The contrasts between episodes and the actual comics has been a passion of mine ever since the show began in 1989.

I dug up an old interview from Dread Central to John Kassir. It's dated before the first season came out on DVD, but a lot of interesting things about TftC and about Kassir in general is revealed in it.

I like Lover Come Hack To Me very much. This is one of my favorite Tales. Amanda Plummer rules and closing narration of Crypt Keeper is one of my favorite Crypt Keeper's narrations ever. I think that I will make topic named Favorite narrations. :-)

...but I don't know how I can make new topic. :-) It does not matter. I have one question. It is important for me. Includes DVDs with Seasons 4 - 7 english subtitles or not? I have first three seasons on DVD and english subtitles includes. But I don't know nothing about subtitles on DVDs with another seasons. Thank you for your eventual answer and help.

Feels like everything here has gotten a lot happier since the Season 6 DVD was announced, right?

    ...Or not.

I've been rewatching some episodes of season six to figure out weather it was actually good or not. What do you guys think? On a side note I just spent the last three hours watching David Lynch's Inland Empire. Wow. That was the most disturbing thing I've ever seen.

Season seven is supernatural, it's not as gory as most but it grew on me to become one of the better seasons of the series.

I'm finally watching the panel discussion from the Season 3 bonus features, and I heard something interesting: two other Tales movies were planned. One with Tim Curry, called "They Walk With Zombies" or something, and it was being worked with Miramax, but there were a few problems, so it may go straight to video. Also, at the very end of Demon Knight, it said something like "Coming Soon: The Dead Easy". AL and Gilbert wrote the script for that one. AL says that it was VERY dark, not a single laugh in it. It was about "a guy who lives in New Orleans who has a recovered memory from childhood about a frightening harrlequin (sp?) figure. The plug was pulled because of the tragedy of Hurricane Katrina. Maybe it will get "resurrected."

I only have season 1. But I ordered season 6 once I heard the news. Its in back order right now and its taking forever while I'm still drooling over the thought of owning it. The first episode of that season is what got me into Tales From the Crypt as a kid. By this christmas I should have a few more season haha
