I have no suggestions, because I'm too busy being jealous. Sorry. But I won't hurt you.

Anywho, I have a question pertaining to the original comics, having little access to the originals or reprints. In Danse Macabre, Stephen King summarizes a tale he describes as his favorite EC story:

"A crazed husband stuffs the hose of an air compressor down his skinny wife's throat and blows her up like a balloon until she bursts. 'Fat at last' he tells her, moments before the pop. But later on, the husband, who is roughly the size of Jackie Gleason, trips a booby-trap she has set for him and is squashed to a shadow when a huge safe falls on him."

Has anyone read that particular story and/or have a copy on hand? If so, what is the title, and is it worth a look?

It sounds like a story he wrote, "The Blue Air Compressor."

So, what's everyone favorite EC story? And what's it about?

I haven't read many stories (but I found a site where they have a bunch of plotlines, the real Confession, Staired in Horror, and The Kidnapper are up there - not the comics, just a summary -, maybe a few more) but I guess my favorite is One For The Money/Two For The Show.

Yeah, that's where I figured he got the orignal idea- but I know little about the orignal comic story.

Of the comics I've seen, I'm fondest of the Bradbury adaptions, ecspecially "The Handler" and "Touch and Go."

Around. Haven't been on TV.com a lot recently, but now I'm popping in every so often.

I wonder if there's anything we can do to generate more use around here?

Hey guys, sorry it's been so long. College is really pressing down on me...and I seriously think I chose the wrong major. I'm looking to find an adequate one that could be applied to a pre-law degree instead. My parents still are going to have an eldest with a doctorate, but they'll have to look elsewhere for a medical doctor in the family. C'est la vie. I feel a bit bad about forgetting about these boards, though. This place is so dead.
