A businessman who's also a criminal has just been given a new face through plastic surgery. But his problems aren't over. He suspects his wife has set him up but for what he doesn't yet know. Oh and this character happens to be played by Humphrey Bogart.
Great crime story and brilliant concept and use of technology. Bringing the dead back to life, is there anything more Tales from the Crypt? Isabella Rosselini channels her mother Ingrid Bergman very well in a role meant to evoke Ilsa from Casablanca. Also great in supporting parts are John Lithgow and Sherrilyn Fenn. But the star here is of course Bogey. The first person perspective is an interesting way to tell the story, with the viewer looking forward to the moments when he is seen in reflections. The imagery is very impressive, he blends in perfectly with the live actors. This episode is a treat for fans of Tales from the Crypt, classic Hollywood, or both.
