This episode wasn't eerie, however it was entertaining. It can be argued that the inspiration of this episode was the story Pinocchio, considering the fact of which whenever Arnold lied, he floated. The male recruiter, Arnold, and Betty Ann were idioticly selfish. Betty Ann wanted her man but couldn't see that the fact that he wasn't trying to be tied down to any woman, let alone her. The male recruiter thought that it would be great to have a man who can float, but wasn't trying to be a problem solver in Arnold's debacle and Arnold wanted out of the relationship despite the fact that he was becoming a father. In the end, all selfish parties ending up losing, with Arnold receiving the bulk of the comeuppancemoreless
  • A man runs into a Army recruiting office claiming that the circus is out to kill him because he escaped.

This is definitely one of my favorite episodes of this series of all time. Yeardly Smith is one of the actors in this episode, everyone may know her as the voice of Lisa Simpson. The episode is written really well, and the overall episode is very enjoyable. The ending is a little fake, but that definitely doesn't hurt this story. This ranks high up at the top of my list along the likes of other episodes "Inside the Closet", "The Circus", and "Seasons of Belief". It's not a scary episode, don't get me wrong, but it is just so cool.moreless
