EDIT
Levitation
AIRED:
A teenager enraptured with magicians goes to a flee-bitten circus to seek out one of the greatest ever: Kharma. However, Kharma now does cheap magic for the crowds, and none of the great illusions the teenager believed he was capable of. When Kharma refuses to do them, the kid heckles him until Kharma relents and uses the boy as a subject for his greatest feat of levitation. However, Kharma dies of a heart attack, and the boy simply keeps on levitating...up into the sky and out of sight.moreless

  • A magician fan drags his buddy to his favorite magician, only to have his face crack that his magician is perfoming remedial material.

The sad thing is, Kharma was trying to look out for his "#1 fan", but was pressured to give in, therefore resulting in the demise of both men. It was great to see that the kid got what he asked for, but sad to see that Kharma paid the price for it
  • A man goes to a cheap circus seeking the best magician since Houdini. Let's just say, by the end, the fan is floating on cloud nine, ten, twenty...

This episode isn't scary, but the way the story is told makes it creepy. Not because of the monsters on the episode, because none are to be found, but because of the imagination and thought of what it would be like if I were that kid that keeps bugging the magician. He gets more than a magic trick, and believe me, he wishes that he kept his mouth shut by the end. How do you explain to the police what happened to this guy at the end of the episode? I don't think you can, lol. But, this is a cool episode.moreless
  • A famous magician doing cheap tricks get challenged to be his best illusion, levitation.

Decent episode, not any spills or chills till the end though. Slow buildup but simple episode to enjoy. A man , Frank, whose a big follower of the magician Kharma challenges him to do his best illusion.

Kharma doesn\'t want to do it and says the act is too dangerious, he finally does it with disastrous consequences.

Nowadays we know a lot more about how magicians do their tricks but the ending is still pulled pretty well. This is a decent episode but not scary like the others.moreless
  • A man who challenges a magician gets more than he bargained for.

Joe Turkel is very good in this cautionary tale of hero worship gone awry. As the has-been magician, he's proud yet vulnerable, with just the right amount of intensity. This is a story for those who want to believe in magic, and who cringe whenever they see an old hero dragged down by time, circumstance, and past tragedy. Cynthia Frost is very effective as the magician's assistant, who knows his terrible secret yet stands by him, even though he's down and out. If you sympathize, this one will make you think twice the next time you want to catcall a performer who's past their prime. Great ending.moreless
