  • I am a believer that this series should be back on tv for the newer generation to watch. It has values that out society is no longer interested in ,like truth and right will always win . Maybe even update it with colorization as kids dont like black/whitemoreless

When I was a young boy in the 50s' , I always looked forward to watching tv at my Grandmothers house as we did not have a tv. So on Saturday morning I was able to see the Lone Ranger , Tales of the Texas Rangers was personal preference. There was just something about the opening of the show starting with Jase Pearson and then Clay Morgan and the other Texas Rangers forming up in a pyramid shape marching to the The Eyes of Texas are Upon You and then the twelve Texas rangers on horse back riding out in a hurry. The story line was always different , in as much as it had Chapter 01 The Early Days and Chapter 02 The Present. The impression made on me at that early age of 07 made me want to become a law enforcement officer. I succeeded in my dream in 1975 when I became a member of the Oxford,Massachusetts Police Department. I was disability retired in 1986 as the result of making an arrest. I was fondly referred to as Ranger Jones by my brethren as my philosophy was " One Riot, One Ranger". Eventually it caught up with my but I would not trade it for the world. I presently have a daughter who is following in my foot steps ( boy doe that make me proud). I still compete in the Law Enforcement Olympics every four years and usually Winn a Gold Or Silver Medal in Pocket billiards. This august the games will be in Florida at Disney world and I will again be there , a northerner from Massachusetts that wears a Stetson. I wish this program could be put back on the air as it was a definitive bad guys Vs. good guys , with the good guys always winning.moreless
