I was watching Plunder & Lightning today and it got me thinking....

Could the Baloo we see in the Jungle Book be the same Baloo we see in Tale Spin? How would you bridge the gap? How do you think Baloo came eo develope his passion for flying, and Louie to open his dive, and more important, how did Shere Khan become the tycoon he is "today"?

Hmmm...might make for an interesting fanfic

Think of it as an alternate reality. Talespin characters were only based on the Jungle Book characters. Therefore, they are not related nor connected other than being Disney characters in different forms.

Now as far as which version of the characters I like better, I have to say Talespin is much better than the Jungle Book. I mean the Seaduck just pwns.

Agreed, I think TaleSpin is the better version. The show Jungle Cubs is more closely related to the Jungle Book than TaleSpin.

It's true that The Jungle Cubs took place before The Jungle Book!
