  • TRIVIA (1)

  • QUOTES (5)

    • (Rebecca wakes Baloo up)
      Rebecca: Baloo!
      Baloo: Huh?!
Rebecca: We've got to finish the inventory.
Baloo: (grabs the account book) I am. I am.
Rebecca: The account book is upside down.
      Baloo: Hey. Creative accounting.

    • Rebecca: How am I going to find her, Baloo? She could be anywhere.
Baloo: Easy, honey. We just gotta think this thing through rationally.
Rebecca: (yells) I am thinking rationally!
      Baloo: No, you're thinking loudly.

    • Baloo: Wow! I bet a radio this size could pick up the moon!
Dr. Zhivaldo: Don't touch that! It's not a radio, it's a shrinking machine, my life's work. It makes things smaller so they will fit into suitcases better, or will once I perfect it.
Baloo: (whispers to Kit) Sounds like he could use a good shrink himself.

    • Kit: He is a mad doctor!
Dr. Zhivaldo: I am not mad! Of course, I'm not thrilled about you being here either.

    • Baloo: You don't think there's really a mad scientist in here?
Rebecca: No, but there is a mad mother!

  • NOTES (1)

  • ALLUSIONS (3)

    • Zibaldo: What do you want? Are you robbers? Here, here, take my watch, take my money, take me me out to the ball game...

This a reference to the Tim Pan Alley song Take Me out to The Ball Game.

    • Rebecca: Until next time, the balcony is closed!

This is a reference to the tv series Siskel & Ebert & The Movies, in which Siskel and Ebert would close each episode with the exact same phrase.

    • Mad Scientist: Give my creation life!

The black & white movie that comprises this episode's opening sequence is an homage/spoof to Universal's 1931 film version of Frankenstein, right down to the monster the mad scientist creates resembling Boris Karloff.
