Tangle has become a favourite show of mine very quickly. It is the kind of show that leaves you wanting more, and wanting it to be the next week already. Tangle has so much going for it too - an excellent cast, great writing and is wonderfully shot. Perhaps the only disappointment would be that it is on pay tv, so not everyone is fortunate enough to see it at the time it airs. Not to mention that it's on a premium channel (Showcase), which costs more money to get.
The title of the show is exactly what it is as well. A tangle. The characters weave their way in and out of relationships, whether love or work related, and have their own ups and downs to deal with along the way.
The arrival of Nat (played by Kat Stewart) is what starts the tangled mess between the characters in the very first episode. A lot of them are insecure because of her, in particular, Christine (Catherine McClements), who fears that the step-son she has helped raise with her husband Tim (Joel Tobeck) will no longer love her.
I am glad that it has been given a second season and can't wait to see what the last few episodes of the first season have in store.moreless
