    • QUOTES (5)

      • Tim: I'm confident, but I'm not certain, if you know what I mean.
Christine: Hmm. Well I'd vote for you.
        Tim: Would you? Why?
Christine: Um because... because I don't think you're in it for the power. I think you're really trying to make the world a better place.
        Tim: (smiling) Thank you.

      • Spiros: (whispering to Christine) I wanna see you.

      • Christine: You know that feeling when you first fall in love, you can't stop thinking about them. And you're trying to figure out how you're going to meet...
Ally: No, I don't want that. (pauses) Do you want that?
Christine: (hesitates) Tim's had that feeling.
Ally: With Nat? No, that was just a fling.

      • Melanie: (talking to Nat) Seriously why do you talk like that? Weren't you born in Frankston or something?

      • Christine: So how did you get into politics?
: (chuckles) You're just making conversation.
Christine: No, no, not at all. I'm interested.
Spiros: My mother. She'd chain herself to a tree if she thought it would make a difference. (Tim's phone rings, so he leaves the table) As a kid, I was embarrassed by her, but as I got older, I began to respect her.
        Christine: Right!
