Two teams are attempting to restore two British A-41 Centurian tanks. One has a big budget and plenty of help and the other team is a volunteer based project with a minimum budget. Each team is trying to prove something and both are finding out the difficulties of restoring an old tank.
One of the groups goes to an auction and lucks up on finding several original items for the tank and a couple of them are still in their original packaging. They are also able to find an original barrel for the turret that came on the tank in 1945.
A little history is given on this very successful British designed tank. It was first built in 1945 and is still in use today in some variation with other countries. It has proven it's ability to fight and survive on the modern battle field several times in various conflicts.
