Taste for Blue Ribbons

Show Summary

Taste for Blue Ribbons is a half-hour drama series on Australian television made in black and white in 1973. The story is about the Byrne family who owns the Blue Ribbons horse-riding stable and school. It is based on a novel by Eugene Lumbers in 1969, which in turn is inspired by an earlier radio series on ABC. The emotional scenes like the foal's operation and the entertaining ones like the first visit to the big city by little Dee (Sally Conabere) and her brother Michael will have the entire family glued to the telly.
