This was my first full-time watching Taxi, but I was impressed with what I saw. The show is not the best sitcom of all-time, it is certainly not Top 10, but it is still a very funny show and this was a good episode to introduce me to it.
Andy Kaufman was a legend in the comedy business as his performance as Latka Gravas here tonight was pure genius. There was no one else like him, and few are as funny as he was today.
And the ending with Louie and Alex scaring the girl scout was a great payoff.
Taxi was a one of a kind show. They just don't make comedies like this anymore.moreless
