Alex lends his daughter his driver's license because he claims it has his address and a picture on it. It seems unlikely that a cab driver could function without his license, considering that he has a long distance drive coming up.
We learn that Bobby Wheeler's idol is Sir Lawrence Olivier.
Alex: [Louie's] really a very nice guy. He'd give you the scales right off his back.
Alex: Wouldn't it be weird, after all this trouble, if we got there too late?
Tony: Don't worry about it. We'll make it. I once had to be in Miami in a hurry for a fight. I drove it in 23 hours all by myself. Wow, what a drive. I swallowed a whole handful of uppers. You know, when the guy knocked me out, I couldn't close my eyes.
Alex: (arm linked with Elaine's and walking toward the phone with the other cab drivers standing in line on both sides of them) I feel like we're getting married at Annapolis.
Elaine: (referring to the cage around Louie's desk) What's wrong? Don't they feed you in there?
Bobby: I'm up for the part of the horse.
Tony: Yeah? Which end?
Louie: Hey, Tony, you get creamed in your fight last night? What's it like having a cauliflower back?
Tony: I didn't get creamed. I lost on the decision.
Louie: I'm impressed.
Tony: The referee decided I was bleeding too much.
Robin Williams was on the short list to play Bobby Wheeler, but had to turn it down, because he had a prior commitement to do Mork and Mindy.
