tony Banta (or Anthony Mark Banta) has the shot of his life at a successfull career as a boxer. he knocks out a very important oponent. of course, when he finds out the oponent went down on porpose to lower his reputation as an unbeatable player, his dreams, and indeed his face are shatered once more.
for me, the funnier scenes in this episodes came from Louie and Lahtka. Louie's firing note to John is funny. "you're through looser", the "nice way to put it" and his "lust is better than love" speach to Lahtka are very funny. also Lahtka's lines about meeting a woman are great. really the best material came from these two, in this particular episode.
note also the fact that louie signs when he's alone in the garage, much in the same way Carla did in one episode of Cheers, where the characters have a happy moment alone, while having rotten behaviours all day long
also note the presence of the actor that played Sidney Freedman on MASH. he was great in that show, it was nice to see him in a different contemporary role.moreless

    • Tony: You know, I never had a robe before, of my own. I'd go in with just a towel wrapped around my neck. Once, the announcer said: "In this corner, Holiday Inn." Edit
