In this episode, Keenan Wynn guest stars as Leo. Keenan, and his dad Ed Wynn were the stars of "Requiem for a Heavyweight" - the old Kinnescope film also starring Jack Palance. The episode of Taxi shadows Requiem, from Keenan reprising what is closest to his father's role in Requiem, to the back room where Tony is before/after his fight, being eerily similar to that of Palance's room. I also noticed some similar camera angles.
