This as others stated was predictable but ok nonetheless. That about sums up the show “Teachers” all the shows jokes and plot have been done numerous time before. The writer and producer of “Scrubs” then

Isn’t showing us what we haven’t already seen.

The only difference is the emphasis on butt kissing (Mitch) and bureaucracy (Principal Emma).

Calvin and Jeff get in trouble for taking the field trip instead of the Botany place they were supposed to go.

Eventually everything works out but the plot about “Concerned Parents Associaton” was lame.

Jeff was right, why should the rest of the class suffer just because one kid’s parent didn’t think it was

Appropriate.

Not bad...but this episode was too predictable.

I guess this show can’t be too funny right now as they are trying to develop there characters and other stuff. Anyway in this episode Calvin meets a girl he had a crush on back when he was in acting school, and finds out that she is still acting but her show is not getting the need audience. To help his friend Jeff decides to take a field trip to her play so that she can get serious with Calvin. But Jeff meets some resistance when the principle says that he can’t go because a concerned parent says that there child can’t go. But Jeff goes anyway, and after that he and Calvin face suspension for 6 months. Meanwhile, Alice and Tina become friends, after Alice finds out the Tina is working at

‘HEADLIGHTS’, which is exactly, like ‘HOOTERS’. After Tina accuses of Alice being too judgmental Alice goes to her restaurant to prove her wrong and thus they become friends.

another uk import but not bad

Don't you sometimes get the idea that all the comedy is getting imported (from all in the family, three of a kind to the office)

but i must say the writers have managed to add depth to the storyline

it would have been easy to concentrate on the "slacker teacher goes after sexy blond/brunette" story (not that having those is bad mind you) but by injecting the story with a all to common theme, pressure groups trying to control and narrow the experience of pupils in school, this series rises above that

sarah alexander might be new to american screens but 4 seasons of coupling(uk) has given her the timing and versatility to play her character physicaly funny.

justin bartha en deon richmond have a natural connection (not jd and turk yet) Shari shahi plays her character straight and simple with the ocasional zinger.

the only 2 who need work are kalli rocha's ms wiggins and the mitch character

ms wiggins has much more potential

mitch in this episode is distraction and irritationmoreless
