  • What started out as a fairly avergae fantasy anime series just gets better and better.

    8.0
The plot is pretty much what you would expect. It is set in a medieval type world with lots of magic, swords and horses. It focuses on the strange relationship between a resurrected demon king called Arawn and the young girl named Riannon who was originally intended to be a sacrifice for him as they travel the world together with the girls tribe and ty to escape the reach of the Holy Empire. The characters are good and not as two dimensional as you would expect but the animation and voice talent is distinctly average. There are however, some really good moments even if you have seen it all before. If you like shows such as Druaga or Utawareromono then this will definitely appeal and you will enjoy it but it is not for everyone.moreless
